Should get started on my taxes this morning or should I put it off till afternoon ?

if you have waited this long, a little longer won't hurt.
Which year's taxes?
Why do now what you can put off until later?
You should wait until at least half an hour before the Post Office closes.
File the extension for 6 more months of procrastination! http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4868.pdf
@caffeine_dude: One little proviso goes with that -
Form 4868 does not extend the time to
pay taxes. If you do not pay the amount due by the
regular due date, you will owe interest. You may also be charged
penalties.
@colonelpuffpuff: I know, I was going to add that, but I was just kidding around.
@xdavex: People use the post office? And for taxes?!?!?
@caffeine_dude: I didn't take it as a joke, as it is one of the distinct possibilities available. Honestly, I have a couple people I know, that as of yesterday, still have not even started their taxes and were going to file for an extension today. They did not know that they had to pay even though they were filing for extensions.
It's probably past time to start as of now.
