Does anyone remember the "Mr. Wonderful" doll? Did you fall victim to one as gift for a gag?

I remember when they first came out. It was obviously a joke until the doll planted ideas in my then girlfriend's head that I could be nicer to her (Remember the Twilight Zone episode with talking Tina?). Yes, you guessed it, another "Mr. Wonderful" swept her off her feet. Oh well; live, learn, and seek therapy! (lol)

My husbands company Christmas party has a running joke where someone gets stuck with one, unknowingly, during the gift exchange. The year after we got stuck, I switched the full sized doll to a key-chain model and easily foisted it off, the next year, heh, heh. I have picked up a Mrs. Wonderful, and a Larry the cable guy version, in case we are caught out again.

Sorry about your girl, I'm not sure you can blame the doll though. :)
