Will home.woot be part of future Woot-offs?

Looks like it is too new for current Woot-Off, but will it be part of future ones?

hopefully it will if they have more of those whiskey stones. checked in too late this morning and missed that one.

I am sure it will take them a while to get a pile of crap built up in their corner of the warehouse that they need to unload, but eventually yes.

it took a while for wine.woot aand kids.woot to start having woot offs, so I guess is that in due time home.woot will as well

meh. To me woot.com and home.woot.com overlap each other. Often the same stuff. Haven't the whiskey rocks been sold on woot.com? ...or was it wine.woot? ;-)

Maybe! This is my take- Woot-Offs are a way for us to get rid of inventory from either past sales or that we don't have enough of to bother making it a daily deal. Home is just a couple weeks old, so yeah, we don't really have the stock to make a decent Home-Off, but maybe in the future!

@agingdragqueen: I believe more warehouse space may be needed if home.woot would be part of the Woot-offs. We have some space in the basement and workshop Woot could use "free".

@gmwhit: I think the plan is to move those type of things over to home.woot, in which case maybe we wouldn't have to wait out $700 knife set sales? On the other hand where does that leave the roomba????

@csl312: Mulling. Too much overlap; don't see the point of 'another' dot.woot. Roomba=woot.com. Knives,ditto. Now they're home.woot? pffftt! The 1st(or was it the 2nd?)home.woot offering was WINE glasses. Overlap w/wine.woot.

Would gently suggest that woot.com keep the 4 individual existing woot sites -woot.com, shirts.woot, kids.woot & wine.woot. Each has a 1 item a day offering. They normally do not overlap. If woot.com wants more 'sites', would it not be a good idea to have a main generic woot.com site w/the 4 major sites, & tabs for other 'deals' that might be considered sellout.woot, or moofi.woot? Tabs you can click on showing deals that don't end in 1 day.

Thinking out loud. Have never felt that home.woot was a good idea. Do not think it's feasible or a good idea to keep adding other 'sites'. All 1 deal a day items. Plenty of those around now. The original 1 deal a day woot was genius. Don't think it needs to expand forever into more 1 deal a day sites.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
