@klutzyruth: I'm in for two cougars.

ROFLOL, the "buy" link on the cougar leads to IMDB's page for Courtney Cox, star of Cougartown. The rest of the "buy" links are also pretty funny.

Slightly off-topic, but here is an April Fools prank worth mentioning for those too young to have heard this one live (text from museumofhoaxes.com, the audio probably lives somewhere):

Nixon For President!

National Public Radio's "Talk of the Nation" program reported that former-President Richard Nixon had declared his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. Accompanying the announcement were audio clips of Nixon delivering his candidacy speech and declaring "I never did anything wrong, and I won't do it again." Harvard professor Laurence Tribe and Newsweek reporter Howard Fineman then came on the air to offer their analysis of Nixon's decision and its possible impact on the 1992 presidential race. A clip from Torrie Clarke, press secretary of the Bush-Quayle campaign, was also played in which she said, "We are stunned and think it's an obvious attempt by Nixon to upstage our foreign policy announcement today."

I guess the late day sac-o-fertilizer Woot pulled ranks up there at the top.
Mainly because it was a tangible something vs. "haha here's a funny"

Listeners reacted very emotionally to the announcement, flooding NPR with calls expressing shock and outrage. During the second half of the program host John Hockenberry revealed that the announcement had been an April Fool's Day joke and explained that Nixon's voice had been impersonated by comedian Rich Little.

I like Youtube's announcement that they are closing their 8 year long contest to find the best video in the world. http://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ

The site is shutting down until 2023, at which point they will announce the winner and that will be the only video on the site from then on.

@mrsbeny: I bought it lol its completely free

Forgot to mention: the NPR Nixon prank aired April 1, 1992, during the primary season before the George H W Bush vs Bill Clinton election.

It worked in part because Nixon was, possibly, in theory, eligible to run, not having been convicted of a felony. I am not sure if he had surpassed the maximum allowed days in office.

Rich Little was so on target with the voice, the emotional tone of denial and defiance, and the awkward Nixonian phrasing that many normally skeptical people believed it to be real.

The flying squirrel thing is great! We were watching Transformers Dark of the Moon on Netflix over the weekend and my friend said flying in a wingsuit was on his bucket list, so I just sent him this telling him here's an inexpensive chance to mark it off his list. I've never heard of zozi. Wish it was in my town, I'd use it all the time.

This is somewhat of a local April Fools joke for the St. Louis/Missouri area, but Schlafly (a big microbrewery here) created this website with a hilarious video. http://www.21standlocust.com/
It's basically ripping Anheuser Busch and their 'Bud' line of brands.

Definitely worth checking out for everyone who enjoys drink real beers with flavor!

@mrsbeny and @klutzyruth: I DID order the manure. Free is a good price. If it shows up I can use it in the yard. If not, well, nothing lost.

And I clicked through each of the livestock deals. They all connect to something funny. Great April Fool's thingie!

Well crap! I ordered the free poo, too! I felt silly doing it and didn't want to tell you all.
I wonder what we'll get?

Google Nose actually puzzled me for a few minutes because I saw it last night, instead of this morning when I was braced for silly pranks. Took me a few minutes of thinking things like "What?" and "Will I have to buy some sort of attachment for my laptop?" before it sunk in.

My vote for the best this year is youtube's. :)

@mrsbeny and @klutzyruth and @dravack: Yeah me too. so I ordered it.
curiouser and curiouser.

I guess I deserve what I get.
