Major virus on twitter today!

I just heard that there is a major virus affecting millions of users today........so if you are a tweeter.....you may want to stay away till its figured out!

Twitter’s security team says it’s fixed the bug. “The XSS attack should now be fully patched and no longer exploitable. Thanks, those reporting it,” writes Twitter security lead Del Harvey on Twitter.

My best guess is that it didn't affect iphone clients because we don't have a 'mouseover' feature.

@wootfast: actually it did, my business partner in Bali emailed me when she got hit on iPhone and told me not to log into our account on Twitter.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
