I use www.experts-exchange.com quite a bit as a technical resource for Access programming questions. I understand they were originally www.expertsexchange.com which was definitely unfortunate.

I also remember the infamous www.penisland.com, a company that sells pens.

A lot of these sites have embraced their unfortunatel urls, just found www.speedofart.com that is proud to be one of the top 9 most unfortunate urls.

@jazcat: Oh! Coffee hurts when it comes out my nose!!!

@hobbit: I know there are even more out there. Thinkthinkthink!

edit: I cheated and found a site with their Top Ten. Because some there are a few that seem a bit NSFW (but not really), I'll just post the link: http://www.esoupblog.com/2007/07/top-10-most-not.html

I used to have an @webone.com.au email address for many, many years. I always made a point of spelling it out because it was funny to watch even serious people smirk, then get embarrassed when I'd say "My ISP is called Web One" in a deadpan tone.

They actually had the best dialup plan, back in the day.

I got a big bellylaugh from my daughter when she was looking for the art museum's website, and I told her: Dallas Museum oFart dot org. (Mostly because I'm more straight-laced than that!)

@robertb: speaking of museums www.high.org I mean really they needed to think about that one

I would use www.whorepresents.com if I could be bothered to sign up. (totally SFW)
