Anyone else having disappearing comments again? (shrdlu?)

So, it's new year's eve, and I'd think the site load would be low, and I'm having the disappearing comments problems again... which I think is usually conjectured to be problems with DB server synchronization.

I was wondering if anyone else is seeing it tonight. Also, I'm having other strangeness too since the security patch.... suggestion boxes popping up in weird places... etc... I'll try to attach a screenshot I just took of that.

Screenshot for the odd suggestion-box popup. (This doesn't appear to be coming from the browser (Firefox)... though I've not debugged into it.)

I occasionally get the strange video artifacts (not a new problem, been with this machine for months) and I had severe problems due to the MS update on Thursday.

Everything has been fine for me since late Thursday or early Friday (or has been... once I click submit, it's going to head for hell in a handbasket so fast that you may never even see this reply).

I posted a comment on the bidet the other day. I asked if it would work on a Mac. I gave up after it disappeared the 3rd time, figuring that a mod was a iFanboy.
