The Galaxy Nexus Was Finally Released Today. Anyone Bought/Buying It?

It's a Verizon exclusive for the time being. I'm getting ready to take a (really) early lunch to go get my hands on it. Hopefully my local store hasn't sold out yet.

Whaddaya think?

Anyone else excited about the phone? Think it's gonna suck? Prefer a different model?

I got one earlier tonight... er, last night. Thursday, the day of release.

I've played with it some but I'm letting it charge now.

Loving it so far....

I'm not going to create a deal thread for this because I know it's hugely Your Mileage May Vary, but it might be worth a try for any of you who are interested in this phone:

We looked at HH Gregg and as we were leaving to make a purchase at the (corporate) Verizon kiosk in BJs Warehouse (think Costco/Sams), an employee said they'd knock off $100 from any phone I wanted.

I left and went to a couple of other stores including BJs, where I usually handle all Verizon business, but no one else locally could come close to that price.

I was nervous about buying from a reseller, especially worried that they'd somehow screw up my $30/month unlimited data grandfathered status, but it seemed to have gone smoothly, if not quickly (they spent over an hour completing the sale - and I still activated it and set it up after I got home). But they were very helpful.

Plus, $149.99 +tax out the door on opening day for the newest Latest And Greatest!
