questionsi need to sell about 100 raw pecans, can anyone…

I'll purchase (1) if the S&H is free and the cost is less than $.01.

1) Acquire a sheet of poster board approx. 24" x 48" or larger.
2) Print, in bold block letters: '100 Raw Pecans For Sale'
3) Locate a busy intersection in your town, stand on a corner and hold the poster up high so that passing traffic can see it.
4) Be sure to give thanks in advance to the Flying Spaghetti Monster or your favorite imaginary saviour.
You're welcome.

You are asking on the wrong website...this place is saturated with nuts already.

Get a couple of wooden crates or a large (appliance size) cardboard sign, a couple of pitchers of lemonade, and a folding chair. Hang a sign on the front of the crates or box saying "PECANS AND LEMONADE FOR SALE" and sit back to wait for customers to roll on up.

Alternatively: use the pecans to make pies, the sell the pies and the lemonade.

Pecans? No, I can't help you there.

Peanuts I can move like nobody's business.

Call me when you've got the peanuts.

Do you mean 100lbs of pecans? Because 100 pecans is like a couple of pounds. Craigslist is probably your best bet either way. Around here pecans in the shell sell for about $2-3lb and shelled pecans run $3-5lb for shelled broken pieces and $7lb for perfect halves from premium crops (sweet and fat). But this is I think the pecan capital of the US. There are pecan groves in all the valleys, and growers from single family to international suppliers. I understand pecans usually sell for about double that in other places.

Aww, nuts! All of the good answers have already been said.

edit: (You get my up vote because you have made a purchase from Woot.)

Thanks for starting out my day on a near perfect note. Here's a nice suggestion for what to do with all those pecans.

Nut Brittle

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tbs water
1 cup nutmeats
1 tbs butter
1 tsp baking soda

Cook sugar and water in a deep saucepan until it spins a thread. Add butter and nuts, and cook until caramel colored (light brown). Remove from heat, and stir in baking soda. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and allow to cool. Shatter with knife handle.

Mixture is hot, and will burn. Don't use something like PAM to grease the cookie sheets; it will spoil the flavor of the brittle. Peanuts and pecans are very good, as are filberts.

@shrdlu: Oh, YUM! Now I want to buy the pecans.

@magic cave: Word on the street is that @coolpoodle is selling 100 raw pecans. Just sayin! Perhaps they can cut you a deal!

@shrdlu: haha, you said nutmeats. What a funny word.

Sorry, growing up now :)

@thunderthighs: Okay, that's one of the weirder little images I've seen.

If you made them into chocolate chip pecan cookies, I would buy the cookies.
Well, since I don't know you maybe not. I'd have to see your kitchen first.
But it was a nice thought.

Are they Pee-CANS or Pee-CAHN's? I can only eat Pee-CAHNS.

By the way, y'all are on FIRE today...sorry I'm so late to the party!

@hot72chev: Well if they are Pee-CANS I'll take em. Thems my favorite.

Aren't RAW pecans prone to that disease that affects Salmon and a girl named Nella? If so, I'd toast your nuts first. (P.S. - remember to gently rotate them in the process)
