Should readers be able to submit edit suggestions for Kindle edition books similar to wiki?
I recently got a kindle and I can't stand reading books on here (often costing more than hardcover) that have misspellings, grammar errors and typos throughout. I realize it's hard especially with older books to get scans to come through correctly but would it be so hard to have books proofread before issued as kindle versions? Maybe something where readers could submit editing suggestions for books like wiki pages are updated?

Excellent idea: crowd-sourced editing. I, too, find the errors extremely annoying and wish there was some way to correct it. Even more so now, with the focus on self publishing. I'll accept a lot of things (incongruent plot, character holes, ect.) but spelling and grammar errors are unacceptable!
Meh. I'd settle for a ban on free ebooks posted here as deals.
