What's a good birthday present for a guy?
Range is like 50$ to 75$, he likes professional soccer, football, star wars and any kind of cool gadgets. Thoughts?

A foosball table with Star Wars characters dressed in football uniforms. It would probably be a little beyond your budget though.
@wingnutzero: good try good try :P
blu ray player? A good new xbox/ps3 game?
In all seriousness, depending on your tastes, take him to a strip club. Most guys will appreciate that. They'll usually get treated better by the "staff" if they know it's his birthday too.
A puppy. Just saying in case my wife reads this
A good authentic/replica jersey, or maybe a hoodie, for his favourite soccer team (if he doesn't have one already). MLS Soccer teams are also known for having team scarves, and they usually come out with a new one for each season. For gadgets...A Roku box? Or something every day..a nice new wallet, maybe. Blu ray player is probably a good idea, or if he has one, a blu ray box set of his favourite TV show or movie series?
naked twister with plenty of female players
Roku box is a handy gadget that's right within that price range. If not then I'd go with a jersey or something like that. Roku is awesome though, and you'd get some use out of that.
star wars nerf gun.....
@drsilentg: are you female? if so, what is your relationship with this dude?
To atdf's wife: Please get the man a puppy:)
@atd15: why are you asking permission for a puppy? maybe she's waiting on you to get her one?
Hm.. more than you'd probably care to hear heh - so let's narrow it down a little more:
Does he play VIDEOGAMES? (<- important question)
Does he like gun/knife stuff?
(I mostly ask because I've been shooting quite a bit lately, and have been seeing a lot of deals for that kind of stuff)
I also ask because I was getting a lot of ideas from my deals-added list (as well as a few other peoples) and there's quite a bit of sword/crossbow/stungun type stuff :)
Also, this being Deals.woot and all, you may be able to afford a FEW cool gifts for that price.. is buying a few gifts an option, or would that come across kinda creepy?
If he does like that kinda stuff I just got an AWESOME taser for $9 bucks :D:

Ok, I don't wanna spam like I did with the last list I contributed to, so I'll just post a couple/few cool things
1. DIY Camera $14 w/ free prime shipping
2. Quality Outdoor RF Helicopter $42
3. IF he games, a nice headset is great
Also, I'm a guy and I like stuff, so feel free to check out my deals-added It probably won't have anything that he'd want, but it might give you ideas.
[ed] Can't help myself: Mr. Beer, GPS, Leatherman, Batter Charger, Portable TV..
And apologies if this is out of line, but.. Love :D
@drchops: best line in this thread. and no it's not out of line. love is always the best gift. whether for an accquaintence, friend, family member or significant other it is always the best option. just really hard to wrap in paper....
+1 for being willing to say it
Star Wars Legos seem to be pretty popular, fun activity.
The Star Wars landspeeder set is pretty cool and affordable. You could get this and something else:

I'm not even into Legos, but this X-Wing is awesome:

This is perfect.
A Hummer ;-)
Thought it said 50-75 k,,,maybe an rc car
The best gift you could give a guy would not even cost you a penny... we are very base and simple; depending on the nature of your relationship of course... ;-)
I got my guy an RC Helicopter and electric razor for his birthday. He loved the helicopter so much, he'd play with it as soon as it's charged up. His friends are also getting choppers... boys will be boys.
@underinsomnia: Great idea! We'd fight over who gets to play with the helicopter though lol
B.J. Novak minus the Novak.
The rest on a dinner and a movie.
If he's outdoorsy, knives and flashlights are always a good bet.
These are great, inexpensive knives:

This is a nice little flashlight for the price:

A word to the wise on the light, some flashlight snobs consider AA and AAA lights to not be 'real flashlights'. I prefer the inexpensive, off the shelf batteries though. If I can't find food for it in a gas station in the middle of the woods, it doesn't really belong on my Bat Belt.
thanks all :) i am going with the jerseys
