Yes, the world was destroyed. Where the heck were you when we all got sucked into that black hole that started in Europe?

I just have a question: What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

vote-for3vote-against

No, the first Nuclear bomb's chain reaction never ended turning the earth into a sun.

@captainsuperdawg: the Lard Hadron Collider is designed to create tiny black holes that "could". These black holes would find it's way to the core of our planet and get larger and larger until our world would be sucked into it (in a forever-slow-motion sort of way).. essentially time would stop and we would be forever aware/"frozen" in place getting sucked in.

Or so the conspiracy theorists say. That's what I remember from the last time I read about it back in 2010

The Kardashians are still considered celebrities. So, yes, the world has been destroyed. Or at least there's marginal difference.

@devexityspace: Forevermore stuck in this woot thread, questioning if the world is coming to the end, while the rest of the galaxy moves forward in multiple separate relevant time observations.

@devexityspace: Thanks, I think it was just the wording of the original that confused me.

As long as the corporation's don't get their way, (destroying the EPA) the earth may have a chance. As far as the collider goes, I'm not particularly worried.

If you're reading this in 2012, then it means that it worked... I don't have much time, but it is important the experiments at the LHC are stopped immediately. You must shutdown the LHC before February 2, 2012. The Higgs particle the researchers discover will eventually lead to hyper advanced quantum computers. This new found computing technology ushers in a hyper intelligent AI, which eventually unleashes a wave of death and destruction upon the human race. The machines have killed or enslaved the majority of mankind. If you are reading this you are our last hope against the machines. To shutdown the LHC you must Carrier lost

The world hasn't ended yet, but that darn LHC is causing the worst natural disasters this world has ever seen. It's all the collider's fault.

At least that is what I would say if I were a crazy nut who fears particle accelerators.

I like what they said on Diggnation a long time ago, it would be funny if the LHC keeps breaking down because people from the future are traveling back in time to stop it so it doesn't destroy the world one day.

we have not finished building the death star yet

@ganzhimself: Do you read me? your tachyon signal is week...We need a reality check..We are being threated by Kardashians from an anti-multiverse. Our economy is already in collapse. What is the best way to shutdown the LHC!

"If you have something that can happen, and something that won't necessarily happen... that's a fifty fifty chance". - Worst statistician EVER http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/cosmicvariance/2009/05/01/daily-show-explains-the-lhc/

@bund9032: tks for posting that bund9032...Best John Daily Clip Ever.....:) got-to-love how they came back to eminent statistician Walter Wagner’s 50/50 hypnosis at the end. ALso good clips from @cstlfx and @mschauber

@devexityspace: Do Lard Hadrons come from obese atoms? Are there any non-fat hadrons that they could use instead?

Only those crazy Europeans would think of building something that smashes together large balls of fat.

Oh. Large, not Lard. Never mind.

In the time that I come from it has. That's why I came back here, to try and warn you all to stop it. Unfortunately I have been too bust eating bacon, as pigs are extinct in my time, to actually do anything about it. Sorry about that.

@moondrake: Oh s#*t, it's heading our way.. Will it get the internet also?

Here's a quick way to keep track, although they don't appear to have an RSS feed set up: http://hasthelargehadroncolliderdestroyedtheworldyet.com/
