Does anyone have last minute gift ideas for my wife?
I have a couple gift cards. I have some items she tried on at the store a couple weeks ago but didn't have enough money to purchase. I have a few chocolates and edible treats to stuff the stocking with.
The only thing I have left to buy is a slip from Victoria's Secret (Item #SG-277-076)
I want to know if there are any great deals out there that make good gifts for a wife.
Bio: 34 years old, 2 kids, rides on my motorcycle, plays MW3 with me, massage therapist, hates to cook, likes to run.
(I am not trying to over-share details, I am just trying to say what has already been addressed.)

New running shoes maybe? Or how about doing some chores or helping out more w/ your kids so she can have some time to herself? I don't know what your home life is like, but if she's usually the one who takes care of the kids more, then taking a break from them might just be the thing she needs.
I always find it hard to suggest gifts for people I don't know personally, as I tend to put a lot of thought into the gifts I give my friends/family.
I tend to think you don't have to buy a ton of stuff and try to stay on the side of quality. You might make the items more personal/meaningful to your wife by adding personal notes to the gifts, like a note with the slip telling your wife how much you're looking forward to seeing her in that sexy new slip you bought her. Or something similar, I dunno.
As an example my girlfriend really gets into anime and has linked me images to amigurumi before. I've been working on making her an amigurumi of a character she really likes and will have it done just in time for Christmas. It's not the only thing I'm gifting but I think she'll love it.
Since she doesn't like to cook, how are your cooking skills? You could create a "coupon' as a gift, and maybe one night drop off the kids with a sitter and cook her dinner et al.
Good jewelry is always welcome.
How about a nice weekend away from the 2 human offspring?
A romantic stay away from home where you two can view the beautiful stars and take a walk exploring new sights?
She doesn't like to cook, but would she appreciate a kitchen thing like a...yogurt maker or a soda maker? What about Portal 2? I'm no massage therapist, but could she use a cute teapot?

I was going to say "massage gift certificate" until you mentioned her occupaton. I don't know, maybe that would still be a gift idea? She can't massage herself, right? Or is that the same as buying your wife a Big Mac when she is the grill cook at McDonalds?

Romantic weekend away from kids
I still need to think of all the disclaimers to add to the home made gift certificates so that they can be redeemed without ruining the intent of the gift.
Give her a book of coupons (you'll have to make them up yourself) with several each of things like "two free hours to relax while I take off with the kids" and "grocery shopping" and "no laundry for two weeks" (you have to actually be able to do the grocery shopping and laundry without screwing up for these to be good gifts).
Don't you know what she likes? Can't you come up with your own ideas? I just don't understand why some men can't think for themselves!
Motorcycle? MW3? Your wife sounds awesome. I think mine is just now coming around to the idea of me playing it all now. Maybe by the time we're 34, she'll be playing MW9 with me.
@misterron: Relax. It's not that some men can't think for themselves, it's just that some men are thoughtful enough to assume we don't always have the best idea out there. I want my sugar momma to have the best even if it's not my idea.

As a runner, here are two more suggestions:

@amschel: I think your calendar idea is great! I'll stick my neck out here & say men are not usually that great at planning events for couples/families (yes, yes, yes, I do know there are some of you out there that are exceptions that confirm the rule!) To really plan out events/dates for the two of you AND/OR all of your family to do special things together is fantastic!
Couldn't find a particullarly good deal on the shoes, best I came up with was these at Famous Footwear but its only for the Silver Plum color.
$90 for the shoes, didnt see anything lower than $100 anywhere else but you can't get it by Christmas at this point so might want to just hold off for a future sale or something.

@ipegot: Thanks for the idea. I will be putting personal notes on gifts. Oh, and I can cook. I occasionally cook things we all love to eat. But I hate cooking. I find it to be a waste of my time. But, I will still make a coupon for her to change the routine.
@susan11125: Yep. She likes jewelry. Trouble is, cheap jewelry is cheesy and the good stuff would break the bank. I will get her new jewelry, but not for this holiday.

@misterron: Nope. I could live with that woman for a hundred more years and never understand her fully. But, there is nothing wrong with searching for good ideas in the weekly ad where you might see something that is right for the intended recipient. Just like there is nothing wrong with asking a large online community of “deal finders” to list good prices on things that might work for a gift.

Also, thanks for the running ideas. She has seen the belts. For now it seems like a fanny pack, which, she doesn’t have interest in. I might do the road id. But I will have to order that, maybe she can get it for the next holiday.
@pamfenway: I am great at ideas and planning. I have planned and thought of tons of great stuff. My two biggest problems are being able to afford them and actually executing the plans. One year I spent months planning awesome gifts for her birthday and ended up having nothing on her actual birthday to give her because I did not make a final decision in time.

Thanks for the bracelet. That is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Again, I won’t have it for xmas. But, we already made a deal that she would get a new bracelet when she got ‘six pack abs.’ I owe her a new bracelet even if it gets here after the 25th.
@curli76: She is interested in the idea of the five fingered shoes. I just can’t buy something like that until she tries them on. I think she will eventually own them though.
@bongosolo: She works at an Aveda salon. I can’t compete with her lotion selection at work. She already has the stuff she likes. Plus, she gets a way better price than I do.
