Do you find yourself getting samples even if you don't need them?

I've been just clicking on the free samples so often now. I swear one day I'll order adult diapers even though I don't need them...yet!

i order samples for me, mil, dad, sis, and anyone else i can think of. i do order almost anything i can get if i can figure out someone/place that it might be useful. if you order stuff you don't need/want you can donate it to a local shelter, resell store, school, etc.

I don't understand the question. It's free and a sample. How is that not necessary? :)

I only order the ones I want to try out or will def. use. I used to get various samples I did not need and donate them, but we do not do that as often anymore and the samples either expire or are found a day after we made the drop off.

I collect free samples, and the ones we can't/won't use, I send to some soldiers I know who are deployed or give to a shelter.

If it's free, it's for me! Or for someone else I know. ;)

I must confess I love frrebies! if you get a free sample, why don't you try it, then you will find it may useful to you at present or in the future.

I will order absolutely anything if it's totally free! Like others have said, if I can't use it, there's someone out there who can. On that note, anyone got any links to some good ones?

I grab almost anything free, but only if I can use them or if I can pawn them off on somebody I know. I'm not too much of a brand snob, so I'll try any free body care item I get and I'll try any food sample I get.

I don't have any kids, but I have a few friends with babies and kids, so I'll just pawn off my free kid-related stuff on them. I won't get free samples for stuff I absolutely can't use (like adult diapers - still have a few years to go), but if I can find a use for something free, I'll snatch it up!

I know I can always find a home for whatever free samples I get. I requested diapers the other day from P&G even though I don't have a kid. I was able to give it to a needy woman I know. There have been a few things I've requested that I knew I wouldn't use, but many times they were as a joke to a friend. For instance, I ordered samples of adult diapers to be sent to my friend and I didn't tell him they were coming until after he received several of them. He told me he would donate them to a nursing home.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
