@faughtey: the urban beat one is very cool, I may purchase that one. Nice find, sir!

Now, if one was searching for some potentially matching/corresponding/not clashing hand and bath towels... ;)

Have you tried shopping using TheFind.com ? You can search by price, color, store (both online and local brick & mortar).

Thinkgeek.com has the periodic table: http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/8a2f/ Modern in a nerdish way and more than 3 colors. My twins have been pushing for this in their new bath. Uh, nope.

This doesn't meet the criteria of three colors, but it is what I have in the guest bath.

@xarous: that is hysterical.

I too need a shower curtain. I would like one that is plastic, my kitten has decided the liner is tasty, although he could decide a plastic curtain is tasty too. I want it Clear at the top because I would like the window to filter in some light otherwise the bathroom is just too dark. My walls are supposed to be grey, but the nasty pepto pink bled through so they are more lavendar which is okay. I have offset this some with a painting of Greece.

@xarous: hm that is what I need. I hate dimensions though.

@prettywootprincess: Would it be too much to ask for a picture of your bathroom? I'm not sure if I can narrow down a recommendation based on black and modern.

It seems you can run the gamut from natural (http://tinyurl.com/ygcc7k3) to geometric (http://tinyurl.com/2gykmkb) to pop-art (http://tinyurl.com/29t5gvw) to sophisticated (http://tinyurl.com/25rx6xk) and beyond.

If not, could you let us know what color the rest of your bathroom is and any stylistic features? Are there any feelings/sentiments you would like to evoke, e.g., lively, romantic, rejuvenating, relaxing?

(Oops, I noticed that most of the ones I have have less than 3 colors... but still, the question remains...)

@hobbit: Are there specific dimensions you are looking for?

vote-for1vote-against

@chaosamoeba: no the dimensions threw me off. I have no idea how long? my bath is and how high I want my curtain to be.

@thunderthighs I like still not in love, @tygerdave sweet, but I am a grown woman, @faughtey I like the pinkish one but might be a bit too southwestern, @lavikinga and @xarous I need fabric. @chaosamoeba I just moved and the counter has black, white and tan speckles. Normal size. Nice stuff guys!

@prettywootprincess: and as a grown man I give you this advice - more awesome martial arts shower curtains - less creepy eyeball sleeping masks.

Hm... sorry that these are all stripes. It seems to be the easiest condition in which to satisfy black with 3+ colors. I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that you're looking for relatively simple, clean lines with some "energy" to the curtain. Be cautious of some of the caveat emptors in the reviews.

I'm not sure these all include black, but do have a dark element to them (like dark brown).

Semi-sheer, more modern, urban: http://tinyurl.com/33jvka6
Bit more tailored: http://tinyurl.com/3ytjgox
Simplest lines of the set: http://tinyurl.com/39eg5cy
Variation on stripes: http://tinyurl.com/2wo2nre
Relaxed feel: http://tinyurl.com/25fl7es

... and because this is Woot, after all: http://tinyurl.com/34trow5

Let me know if you want to go more "upscale" then the included retailers, I assume that since we're on deals, we're targeting <$30 and <$20 if preferable.

@chaosamoeba: All nice but your forgetting the main color. Black! Like the sideways lined one.

@prettywootprincess: The monkeys have black eyes and mouths ;) Oh, and it should be noted, that the monkeys have a clear mid-section, which could work for @hobbit as well (although the bottom is fabric).

Oh and congratulations on the move, btw! I like moving, but maybe I'm bizarre that way.

I wonder if there's a way you could design your own and have it either be made into a custom curtain, or if you could take a blank curtain and make the designs yourself, which would allow you to perfectly match your color palette. Just an idea.

Black, white, grey/tan horizontal stripes:

This one is more artistic (i.e. more than just a pattern), but is just black and white (unless you count grey as a third color):
