Do you have your Christmas tree lights on during the day?
If you're home during the day, or if you work at home, do you turn the Christmas tree on? I don't know why, but we generally don't turn ours on until it gets dark.
If we're home, they are on regardless of time of day...till we go to bed at night.
Our tree is lit 24/7...
Same as mtm2, if I'm home, the lights are on, though I turn them off when going to bed.
Outside lights are set on timer, they come on around 5pm and go off at 2am.
Ours can't be seen from outside, so no. Timer turns it on at 4PM and off at 9AM. We use it as the night light during the Christmas season.
My tree is lit only when I am at home and awake. My outdoor blinkers are solar powered LEDs, but I still turn them off when I go to bed as they will run all night and I don't know if they would bother the neighbors. I turn them on in the morning and they come on automatically when it gets dark. I like them very much and may set them for steady lighting and leave them on my carport. It's nice to drive up to a lit carport on these nights of early darkness.
At home, no, unless there is company over.
However at work, I have a tree that is turned on as soon as I walk in the door and turned off just before I leave (though I have been known to forget to unplug it on occasion...ooops!)
It's still dark when we get up in the morning, so the first thing I do is turn the tree lights on. It makes starting the day a little cheerier. I turn them off when we leave and when we go to bed.
I turn ours on when I get home in the evening and turn them off when I go to bed. They are not on during daylight hours.
From the minute we get downstairs until we lock up for the night.
It's on whenever we're home, awake, and remember to turn it on. We have a real tree, so don't want it lit if we're not home & awake.
