I easily put on 15,000 to 20,000 miles a year. It really depends on all the extra trips I make outside of my daily routine.

Normal months are only about 450-500.

3 to 4k a month.. but I drive a ton for work.. I have a travel log and I average about 100 miles a month for personal use.

I'm averaging a little over 2000 a month...

I used to put well over 1000 miles a month on my car in college. Now I live in a metro area and take a bus for commute and am no longer making long car trips to visit family, so its probably less than 200 miles per month now.

500 miles a month for me. Usually about 6,500 miles a year with the ocassional road trip.

You fall on the part of the curve where you are spending way too much time driving, unless you are getting paid to do so or it is for pleasure.

I drive about 8 miles per day during the week.

I wish I could live in an area with good public transport, but while I'm in Central Florida, I'm forced to drive everywhere. I drive at least 70 miles a day just for my daily commute. But I really hate the current area where my office is located, and it will probably move (or I will change jobs) within the year. Ideally, I'd like to buy a place close enough to ride my bike to work.

I do feel a lot better that I'm not the only one who drives so much!

My car is going to be 4 years old soon and it has 24,000 miles on it. So about 500 miles a month. It helps that I live only 4 miles from work, as I go home for lunch every day, but that's still only 16 miles with two round trips every day.

19K a year on the work car so the milage is 100% deductable for my company of one. It is my biggest deduction.

and

8K a year on the personal car

25-35,000 split between a few of my personal vehicles.

My car is almost 4, and I have 60,000 miles. I guess that's actually only a few thousand over the yearly average.

i bought my car last September(2010) and I've only put 5,000 on it although im a homemaker and my blazer is basically a grocery-getter

Even more impressive my mom has a 2008 Solara she got in 2007 she drove it from Washington to Indianapolis where we live now and it only has 11,000 she really is that old lady that only drove it to church..

I put about 300 miles every two weeks. So about 600/month. I drive 22 miles round trip to work with a stop at the gym on the way home. Almost every store I need to go to is within 3 miles one way (five grocery stores, two warehouse stores, a mall, etc). I live 1/3rd of a mile from my church so I often walk. So I just don't drive a whole lot.

Last year I did put more miles on my car as I made two trips to Mississippi to see friends (~850 miles round trip each time) and another ~2000 miles round trip for a trip at Christmas.

I average between 1,900 - 2,000 a month over the past 2.5 years. But I commute 50 miles round trip each day for work, that's more than a lot of people. And I take an out-of-town road trip of about 400-600 miles about 6-8 times per year, so that drives the average up. In a month where I don't go out of town, I land around 1,600 miles. In the months where I do go out of town, I'm closer to 2,200, probably.

Good question!

I have a '94 Saturn with 56,000 miles. I live in a small town; there's nowhere to go and nothing to do.

I have a 10 year old Honda with just over 50k. I don't have anywhere to go either.

I drive a bit over 45 miles each way to work. So around 90 miles a day before errands.. Yikes!

Yikes, I just checked the odometer of my '94 Saturn. It only has 51,500 miles. I guess I really should find somewhere to drive to.

I just bought the 2012 impreza an after one year and eight months I have 27,000 miles exactly. Is this too many?
I live in North Pole Alaska so it's a constant drive to the city. I feel like I've racked up way to many miles. Help?!
