Here's a photo of what is on back. I only have the red, yellow white. Do I need more cables?

Sorry, it won't let me edit. I figure out how to do it. Now my question is, will my Dish remote still work if I want to watch something I recorded on TV 1 since that is where the Tivo is. I know I can watch on TV 2. (I think).

you sick of me yet?

No, not sick of you.
Sick of the 2 day project of connecting TIVO to Anything!

@minkeygirl7: Restate your question, I do not own a TIVO but I am not sure what you are asking. (it could be me pre-coffee).

@caffeine_dude: I think I have it figured out after googling the right thing. The ports on the back of my TV did not correspond to what I had on my Tivo using the component cables. Then I read that I have to connect my Tivo to the satellite receiver in TV 1. Since I'm using a coaxial cable, vs the others, now I know what to do.

Now I'm trying to figure out some recording options with the satellite DVR. I found some forums for that.

@mollytim, I called Tivo so it wasn't that hard. I'd rather spend 2 days on that and use my Tivo then dealing with the morons at Dish.

Unless you get a Directv Tivo, Tivo is only compatible with cable and over the air broadcasts.

Try connecting the Yellow cable to the port marked Y/Video...

@hobbitss: According to Tivo a Series II will work however due to my BBB complaint about how horrible they are they are disconnecting my Dish with no ETF! Whew!

@hobbitss: You're supposed to connect the TV into TV1 but that didn't work. Doesn't matter now.

Thanks all!
