Anyone else have trouble ordering the wine woot?

Yeah, I know those tags will get edited, but I'm still flustered. I just spent about 10 nervous minutes trying to get through ordering the Kent Rasmussen Syrah over on the wootoff (don't bother, it's OVER, and the good news is, I got mine). I clicked the "buy" button over and over, and I got everything from "service unavailable" to just being dumped back on to the front wine woot page, where the bar was rapidly approaching extinction, and the "I want one!" button was jumping up and down, maddeningly. I couldn't even get the account page to load (same fun), until a couple of minutes ago.

Whew. I can see I got it, but that's more trouble than I can recall.

Anyone else?

I know, I'd be more fashionable if I just asked a nice question about what had happened to my reputation, but I care more about the wine. I love Kent Rasmussen, and Twisted Oak (hence the messed up tag...remember, I said I was frazzled), two of the best experiences I've had here on Woot. Twisted Oak was actually one of my first Deals purchases (and a tasty purchase it was, too).

All the sites are having trouble. During the cowboy fleece a good number of comments were about the problems with ordering. You'd think everything woot is putting up today may as well be a BOC with how much roller coaster crashing its doing.

This is the new "Don't Drink and Woot" campaign, to keep people from buyer's remorse when they buy on impulse while impaired. If you can rapidly reload the page and manage to hit the bouncing I-Want-One! button, you are deemed to be sober enough to order. Warning: If you still have buyer's remorse, don't expect any sympathy from your fellow Wooters. That was an order button, not one of the Woot games.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
