I received an email from Matt inviting me to "Join us for a sneak preview as we embark and meet your local wooters!" at local.woot, but when I've tried to sneakily preview the site, I'm rejected every time. It may be because I was on vacation for a week during which my rep dropped 15 points because I (gasp) didn't check woot, who knows? Anyway, I haven't been able to get on it yet.

Dammit. See, this is why I hate the internet. And Woot! specifically.

Before I read this thread, I didn't even know this existed. Now I have this sort of soul-crushing feeling of being left out. Even though since I live in Florida it's of no use to me and, as mentioned, I didn't even know it existed before.

Maybe that's the same reason I have a shelf full of Hip-Hop Hippies and Coleman Fish Pens purchased from Woot! that I haven't used yet?

I guess I probably got an invite because I live in Texas. But not central Texas, so it didn't do me any good. And I got a 404 error every time I tried to check it out.

I have literally JUST learned of local.woot's existence and I've not yet been invited. But from it's description, it sounds fantastic. I love woot like Angelina loves babies from other country's, and Craigslist is cool too. So if those two are now fused into one with the new title local.woot, well, then, thats just dandy.

Can i get an invite from someone if possible?
