I also suggest Amazon. Also, Gamestop is having a buy 2 get one free sale for pre-owned games, if that's your kinda thing

Sadly, I think the answer is: There aren't any. I see the same dozen-or-so over-priced aging titles at every retailer. Only a few new things on sale and only one or two that seem good.

You could try these to see if they have anything that suits your fancy...

BestBuy.com - I usually don't recommend them but they had some titles for a bit cheaper than other retailers that I saw in yesterday's pre-sale ad papers.
Target.com
ToysRUs.com
buy.com
overstock.com

For PS3, it's really kind of a crap shoot. Check Woot (obviously) and Techbargains periodically and you can find some steals.

Also (and this really isn't trolling, I swear) check out modern PC gaming. Yes, the hardware can be expensive, but games are crazy cheap. A few weeks back Amazon had Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Just Cause 1 + 2, Deus Ex, Quantum Conundrum and Supreme Commander 2 for $10. The Steam sales are usually crazy good (like 75-90% off). Amazon currently has packs like Borderlands + BioShock 1 and 2 for $10.

If you buy more than 20 or so games, the hardware/software costs about break even - then it's gravy on the PC. I don't want to start a flame war (or do I), but PC gaming really is in a great place right now. And I say that as a life-long console gamer. :)

I'd have to agree with the above post. As a console owner for all of my childhood and young adult gaming life (Commodore 64) I recently purchased a desktop in the beginning of December and there are so many cheap, great, replayable games right now it's blowing my mind. GOG is having a great sale right now along with steam and their daily deals, Amazon has some great downloads and every now and then their lightning deals are incredibly unbelievable. Merry Christmas, happy Kwanzaa, happy Chanukah and happy New year to all :-D.
