What's a good way to bind/archive papers?
Hey folks -- I've been absent for a while and apologies that I'm coming back just to ask a question.
I work with a lot of (academic) papers and am looking for a good solution towards archiving the ones that I need to reference. I've not found an effective electronic solution (although feel free to propose one), as I tend to process and find information more effectively when I have a physical document in front of me. I'd like to collect all relevant references to each of my projects in one "book."
I've always found binders unwieldy -- they're usually large and cumbersome and it's difficult to scan through the documents as turning pages is difficult. It would be nice to have a labeled spine, though, for easy categorization.
I'm happy to entertain any (greener) electronic solutions, as well -- however, in the case of an electronic solution, the issue is less of storage as much as it is of browsing.

You could use binding combs. That way the papers are bound and you can put a label of some sort on them. I am not endorsing them, but here is a link to a site where you can buy the type of thing that I am talking about: http://www.mybinding.com/.sc/ms/cat/Binding%20Supplies--Plastic%20Comb?gclid=CO7-osvwza0CFUbCKgod1BWxkw
