And, if you click on the link that says "Check out our other stores," it goes to http://www.bkindustries.net/ and that site just says:

Under Construction

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We have removed those listings.

All told.

vote-for-16vote-against

WE never hid the fact that we were BK Industries. It has always been stated that we were that company. This is simply one of our websites.

We have fulfilled every single order made through any of our websites since the mystery box debacle. It is only those mystery boxes that we had a problem with because GPal held the money and refused to give it to us.

As for woot, they can see the same ip address and they know full well that we were bkindustries. To come up with an excuse that they are removing the listings now after being "informed" is ludicrous as they have always known about it.

Access to information is not knowledge.

vote-for-4vote-against

@chris12345: We posted before that it was our site both on our bkindustries account and themanoflegend for the paracordmaster. Our site has always said bkindustries in both the bottom of the site (which is very easy to see) and in the about us page it even shows my name which everyone who was effected by the mystery boxes knows. And we link directly to our BKIndustries.net site (which is under construction for a week or 2)

We have not hid anything, ever. We have been openly honest from the first day of our first post and have never lied about anything.

vote-for14vote-against

@bkindustries: I doubt they were checking the IP tables, posting under multiple accounts is fishy.

Given your history here I can see that you would want to avoid all the mess that would pop up, but that's not going to fly with the users even if it would with the staff.

I suggest you post with this account, write up a boilerplate response to the obvious complaints you will get and point to it and don't get drawn into any further discussion on deal postings.

People can decide for themselves at that point.

As an aside, it looks like the last thing you posted was 10 months ago and you mentioned you had a baby coming - I hope all went well and you're happily sleep deprived?

vote-for-5vote-against

Also, not to stir it up more, but BK Industries is also a web site hosting company and web site design company. We host and have designed dozens upon dozens of company websites that although they are not related to our company in any way their sites do still reflect the BK Industries name in the footer just like our own sites do.

vote-for4vote-against

@tygerdave: Well baby turned into "babies", the wife gave birth to twins 5 weeks ago. So I am now 26 years old with a 3 year old, 2 year old, and 2 twin baby boys. And to top it off I Tore my rotator cuff a couple weeks ago so its been a rough month to say the least.

Also, my last deal posting was probably 10 months ago but I have made comments on the site almost every single month since we have been on. I have even purchased items since then as well. Blanket response to follow....

vote-for9vote-against

@bkindustries: wow - well congrats on the twins and good luck with the rest :-)

vote-for9vote-against

@bkindustries: Congratulations on the babies, B! Hope the delivery went well and they are both progressing along on schedule. We were gobsmacked when we found out that we were having twins as well, although lucky that we knew at 8 weeks along. Gave us lots of time to accept the painful truth.

Let me warn you now. What ONE wouldn't dream of doing, TWO will create and execute with the greatest of ease. Silence in your house while the babies are afoot should be considered the same as warning bells and alarms. It ain't a good thing.
Get a lock for your toilet seats (I am SERIOUS ABOUT THIS), on your cabinets, put your car keys up VERY HIGH along with permanent markers, make sure you can unlock ANY door in your house & find yourself a pair of wonderful babysitters.

@Tygerdave had good advice. Throw yourself on the mercy of woot & hope for the best.

@bkindustries: Rotator cuff: a friend sent me this info recently. All her words, not mine.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/02/health/02brody.html

If that url doesn't work, go to Google and plug in "nytimes ancient moves for orthopedic problems".

It shows a simple stretch, based on yoga, that is done for about 30 seconds, that eases or eliminates pain from a torn rotator cuff.

I tried it and could only hold the pose for less than five seconds, due to my problems with just standing up. And for the first time in years, I was able to lift my left arm straight up over my head. Without pain! While holding the pose, I didn't have the sensation of stretching anything, really. It just felt like I was leaning on the wall in a different position.

The theory is that the stretch encourages a different muscle to take over some of the burden from the torn muscle. If you have shoulder pain, read the article and maybe try the stretch (or consult your doctor first).

vote-for3vote-against

@magic cave: Well because of our money situation the only insurance we have is medicaid and they won't allowed the doctor to do an MRI without me going through 4 weeks of physical therapy first. And the doctor has warned me that if I choose to do the therapy without an MRI first then there is a chance I could permanently injure my shoulder, even to the point have having no use of it the rest of my life.

So I have chosen to try alternative methods, I have been to the chiropractor and that did wonders. And I will certainly check out this article as well, maybe it will help out more as well.

Thank you for that.

vote-for5vote-against

@lavikinga: Why would you need a lock on the toilet seats? Oh wait...

vote-for5vote-against

@prosperouscheat: Lock on toilet seats is good even for just one. Let me see...

Place one end of toilet paper in toilet. Flush, and watch it unreel like crazy. Wow! Flush over and over and over... (this is why the paper goes UNDER, and not OVER, the roll, now).

Drop marbles, one at a time, in toilet, and then cry because they've rolled out of reach.

The list is endless.

Locks are good.

vote-for0vote-against

@prosperouscheat: lol, thats a good one, but normally their upside down in it. Or you normally find them eating "Chocolate" But I blame that one on the careless adults and siblings.

vote-for0vote-against

@shrdlu: Haven't had marbles yet, but I have had cars (hot wheels) many many many times. Had to buy a snake cause I couldn't afford to keep calling a plumber.

vote-for5vote-against

In my house it was Fisher Price Little People, who were apparently "learning to fwim." Back then, there were no fancy-schmancy toilet locks; I used a cardboard box containing 10 lbs of books. Major nuisance on occasion, but it prevented the drowning of countless Little People.

vote-for5vote-against

@prosperouscheat: You know what I said about silence being a warning sign? It dawned on me when I finished cleaning up the kitchen after a self-feeding session of Spaghetti-o's for lunch (Don't judge. I also had a picky 5 year old) That other than some repeating flushing coming from the bathroom, it was awfully darned quiet in the house.

I discovered my almost 2 year old twins were holding a flushing party. Invitees included a cheap mini pocket "spy" camera, a metal F-15, small tube Revlon foundation, Little Mermaid electric toothbrush, assorted Legos & Poseidon only knows what else.
The plumber eventually recovered these items. They were stuck in the toilet which he finally had to take out to the front lawn & flip upside down to remove the stuck items.
The flushing took only the 8 minutes it took me to clean up the O's, wipe surfaces, & load the dishwasher.
So, yeah, a lock for your toilet. Besides, kids are top heavy. If they flip over face first into the water, it's game over.

vote-for4vote-against

@prosperouscheat: Yeah, the toilet "bath." I had forgotten that one. Their sister used to have tea parties until we discovered where she was getting the water. Strong immune system these kids have!

vote-for0vote-against

@gthuffines: lol. You'll notice, that the user is using my pictures from my ebay listings and from my website. And his pricing is double what I sell the paracord for on my website.

As long as they purchased the cord from me then it is ok for them to use the pictures. But they still need to ask for permission to do so.

vote-for2vote-against

I agree. I just placed an order with you, hope you come through for me with the paracord. I could have bought from this guy and not wait on my order. Please make an honest transaction with me!!

vote-for3vote-against

regardless of what the name of the company is...bk industries or paracordmaster. plain and simple fact is, they are not fulfilling their business promises. They have numerous customer complaints with noncompliance in filling orders from their website. I unfortunately was affected by their extremely poor business practices. I suggest buyer beware . whistler4 i would not hold your breath waiting for your paracord. its is not coming.

vote-for3vote-against

@bkindustries: In good faith, we have been tried to reach you for weeks (MULTIPLE times per day) at all three of the telephone numbers that YOU sent to us in order to reconcile a Paracord Master order (#100003091) that we placed with you back in October. We have tried to be understanding, but after searching for more information on your companies we are very alarmed to say the least. >>>cont. >>>

vote-for3vote-against

>>> Continued … It appears by your posts here that establishing and maintaining the integrity of your companies is important to you. If so, you have our information, so we are asking that you do the honorable thing by CONTACTING US to resolve the matter. We look forward to talking with you and resolving this in a professional manner.

vote-for0vote-against

@akrobyn: There you go, also, just remember, like I mentioned on the phone, My personal cell phone number is on your billing invoice, you can call me whenever you have questions or need updates. Thanks again!

vote-for3vote-against

@bkindustries UPDATE: I just wanted to say thank you for getting in contact with us so quickly to get our order all taken care of! We've already received everything as promised this morning. I really appreciated the professionalism you extended and look forward to seeing what great deals you'll have to offer. Blessings to you!

vote-for3vote-against

I guess BK Industries is down AGAIN!! Ordered paracord over a month ago, billed my credit card and have not received anything as of today! Have tried emails (all returned "undeliverable") and phone calls (apparently line has been disconnected) - FED UP!! Sick of trying - wish I had found all this info before my apparent stupidity of ordering from this "company ...." Ugh!

vote-for4vote-against

@robin418: The Owner does still post here from time to time, hopefully he will see this. They are also known as "Paracord Master" http://www.paracordmaster.com/index.php/about-us and "bkindustries" has a Facebook account...perhaps you can reach him there:
https://www.facebook.com/bkmysliwiec#!/pages/wwwbkindustriesnet/232992492803?sk=info
Good Luck!

vote-for3vote-against

@jimeezlady: Thanks Jim! Hopeful (but doubtful)!! I've tried every source of contact, but will try FB - don't understand if he can't check emails, can't keep the website up-to-date, REALLY wonder if he still checks this??? GGGGRRRR!!

vote-for3vote-against

I placed an order 7/25/11 and have not received anything since October if I remember right. I purchased almost $190 of products and still, over 5 months later, have yet to receive 6 remaining items. I can't get any phone call answered, and despite several requests to be called, I do not get called to discuss my order. I just saw the facebook suggestion and posted a comment there, hopefully I will get an answer. I know they are busy, but having a standing order from JULY should make me somewhat of a priority to get taken care of I would hope... Hoping Brandon will see this here and PLEASE CALL ME to discuss my order... Order #100000222 I should add, payments were only through paypal at the time I ordered, so there is no cell phone number listed on my credit card statment. The only phone number listed with paypal goes to voicemail and I have never received a return call.

vote-for3vote-against

BEWARE. BK Industries took my money and never shipped the paracord that I odered. Ordered on 10/31/11 and to date have not been able to contact them or email them witha response. I submitted a complaint today to the BBB and Utah Department of Consumer protection. Everyone who has gotten screwed by this company should do the same. The UTAH AG IS investigating them.

vote-for1vote-against

Glad to hear the Utah attorney general is investigating... although when I called the office of consumer protection, they couldn't reveal any information because there was not yet any legal action being taken. I hope it makes things right for all of us. I have been told by another customer that they received a response to an inquiry about a long-standing order and it mentioned that they "could not" use their current inventory to fulfill existing orders. So they're sitting there in their shop with thousands of products that people like us are waiting on, and instead of shipping them out to us (who paid months and months ago), they are putting them up for sale online and shipping out the next business day, keeping us waiting still. I did get a "newsletter" from them yesterday stating that they are refunding all open orders, so I will get money back (someday maybe) from the 6 items I didn't get and it will buy me 3 at their new price, plus paying shipping again. This just seems wrong

@anotherrobyn and @ggl225: Please read the information posted earlier today at this location: http://deals.woot.com/questions/details/e0743427-d143-44bd-b68a-7d239be63818/why-has-it-been-9-weeks-and-i-still-havent-received-my-41-order-or-paracord-ive#10

I work for a large credit union and handle credit/debit card disputes frequently. I would strongly advise you to start a dispute as soon as possible with either your card issuer or with PayPal. If you used PayPal, start there first.

@all
My editor and I wrote this story, I thought since I mentioned this particular question I would post this here. It may provide you with updated information. You can also download Brandon's public file in the corner of the article where there is a pdf called BK Industries Citation.

@all

After all this, this guy is still doing business selling the same stuff he could not ship.
http://www.bkecorp.net and BKE corp on facebook.

vote-for1vote-against

@wbaum: That's pretty amazing. I can't believe he's still accepting orders if he can't fill the orders from 4 months ago...

vote-for1vote-against

yup, even after 3 years...still no boxes. Now that I have moved, i guess I'll never see the boxes that I order in 2010..
