What other NON deal forums do you visit?

Im sure there are a number of people out here that frequent other forums besides deals.woot! If I am not on woot! you can usually catch me here:

HEATHEN! ONLY deals websites are worth out time, 90% of which is required to be spent on woot sites.

Have been reading the Kindle forum since I bought my first one almost 3 years ago. At times informative; often funny in a warped way. ;-)

I initially went there several years ago when I was watching some reality series that no one else I knew was watching and I needed to vent. Eventually I discovered there are threads there on all kind of topics and I stuck around for the less TV-related discussion.

I used to be active on macrumors, but I haven't been there lately. Same goes for the wallpaper board on 4chan. /wg/, not /w/. I learned a lot about desktop mods in /wg/. is my current desktop, if anyone's interested.
The coaxial helicopter forum on rcgroups.com.
The Montblanc forum on fountainpennetwork.com. Haven't posted in a while, but I still check it occasionally.

Besides woot the forums/boards that I use now are head-fi.org and 4chan. I used to be active in a bunch of forums but school caught up and actually takes time now.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation. Someday we'll do a little cartoon showing just how hard your vote is working.
