Dealswoot needs to get a special badge everyone can buy and wear so we could recognize a fellow Wooter.

vote-for7vote-against

Nope, but I'd totally be up for a Woot party someday, if any other NYC Wooters are interested!

@txlucy1960: I have no doubt that badge would be a black triangle.

vote-for4vote-against

@novastarj: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_triangle_%28badge%29

i'm not sure about that, hopefully we could bring some honor back to the black triangle badge if it happens :), its had a pretty intense past

wine.woot is always having real life gettogethers. people there meet up for splitting orders of cases of wine, or wine socials organized in several cities. they take their wine seriously!

otherwise, no. i've seen online pics of people when they're posted, here or in the chatroom. i know for a fact i live close to some wooters. one person even mentioned a specific store that is very close to me and that i go to sometimes. it's kinda creepy though, i picture all of you as being far away. especially you Californians

vote-for12vote-against

@txlucy1960: We have badges. They're called T-shirts from shirt.woot! I've actually talked to other wooters because either they recognized my woot shirt or I recognized theirs...

vote-for9vote-against

No, but I've seen most of you through my telescope. Nice shirt today Conan by the way.

vote-for4vote-against

Yep, but I'll leave it to the other person to affirm, for reasons of privacy. The person looked just about exactly like who I expected.

vote-for4vote-against

@txlucy1960: I have one -- it's the Co-Couthiest Wooter that was made for me last week.

vote-for3vote-against

People already give me too much grief about my Woot! obsession. Not sure if it should cross in to my personal life.

vote-for2vote-against

@magic cave: You still have it! Great! Of course, that was for only the two of us. We would need something else for those who AREN'T the Co-Couthiest Wooters.

vote-for6vote-against

I've seen Woot T's on people before so I guess there are other people who Woot. I always thought I was imagining this place. That's what my doctor told me. My meds aren't adjusted yet.

vote-for4vote-against

YES! It was a Co-Couthiest Wooter. We had doughnuts and talked turkey (timers), agreed that women's shirt sizes are totally inconsistent & totally hosed, talked smack about the rest of you! ;)

vote-for-1vote-against

Are you asking for deals.wootbook? I'll decline. It's too easy sometimes to find someone on the interwebz.

vote-for3vote-against

@lavikinga: Shhhhh! You promised not to mention that!

vote-for9vote-against

I've met @Publicart That kid is pretty cool guy. Damn good looking too, he's also on the market ladies.

I plan on meeting quite a few of you goobers in the future some day, just don't know when it will happen.

vote-for6vote-against

@captainsuperdawg: nice try but guys named Conan don't wear shirts!

vote-for6vote-against

@tippypaws: They do when they're librarians. Most libraries carry a "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service" ruling.

vote-for4vote-against

Yup, I've met the famous @cowboydann! As you can see he's a flatter-er and all around nice guy! Lol, thanks(?) for the plug cowboy. I suspect wooters will be able to find me the hottest deals on ladies, just like everything else. :P

vote-for2vote-against

@drsilentg: That triangle is upsides down. Think what else is evil upsides down...

vote-for5vote-against

Yes. I've met one several times for breakfast, and two others who were from out of town and passing through. It was a lot of fun.

vote-for3vote-against

@conanthelibrarian: Crap. Must've gotten the wrong house number. The guy had your haircut though. Or at least the same haircut as the last time I saw you. Oh, well, I'll see you on my next go around. I've got other Wooters to see tomorrow.

vote-for3vote-against

@belyndag: Of course I still have it! I've even added it as an item in my CV, just in case I ever want to apply for another job somewhere.

vote-for5vote-against

Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges!

vote-for5vote-against

No, but I would be down for a Woot! gathering. Everyone would have to wear name tags with name and username on them so we would know who was who.

I have bumped into a few shirt.woot people at concerts and stuff before. Usually just a nod and/or fist bump with a "nice Woot! shirt"

vote-for3vote-against

Ran into some woot shirts here and there, but like others have said, just a nod or "nice shirt" exchanged. I'd be up for a meet and greet or something though!

vote-for4vote-against

Shirt.woot used to have a birthday party every year in St. Louis. It was a really fun and awesome way to meet other wooters.
I'm not sure why they don't have the parties anymore. It might have something to do with being owned by Amazon now (that's just speculation, though.).

vote-for2vote-against

never met any face to face, but have made connections in other on-line venues, and snail-mailed a couple times in the past to send items.

vote-for2vote-against

Wine gets together often.

I've met 3 people in real life.
One for lunch.
Spent the day with another on vacation. She used my house as a hotel for a two night stay once. I used her ex husbands concert ticket for a band she follows (as in travels the world for the concerts) She got custody of the tickets after the divorce.
Became very close friends with another!

I still don't know what Poof looks like though.

vote-for2vote-against

I see lots of shirts when I'm out in the world, I try to always say hi. I've had some nice conversations with people because of that.
