Best Blu-Ray Player Software for Win 7?
I purchased a Blu-Ray Burner for my Win 7 PC. I works fine but my older version of Roxio Creator 2010 won't play prerecorded Blu-ray disks as well as Windows Media Player. I have looked at some alternate free players such as DA Player (Free Blu Ray Player) and Free Smith Free Blu-ray Player but haven't tried them yet.
Anyone have any experience with these free players or suggest a inexpensive commercial player/software.
I think Total Media from Arcsoft is pretty good. A buddy of mine gave me his copy and I have no complaints about it. It works, it's simple and that's exactly what I wanted
I'm not sure what the best software is (I'm interested to see what people say as well) but I can say that HP Mediasmart software that came with my computer is probably the worst. It takes forever to open, the surround sound doesn't always work, and often confuses itself and forgets how to play blu-rays entirely.
I got this free last week from Giveaway of the Day tried to Woot it but wasn't allowed. Works pretty good. Key an eye out I've seen it before for free or highly discounted.
Forgot site, good for PC and MAC
I also got a Mac version of Macgo Blu-ray Player which works well with my iMac. And it has a reasonable price at least I think so. Besides it supports Windows platform. Free Blu-ray Player software is not reliable. Try this
