What is your ideal, low stress, and reconnecting family vacation "fly to" destination?
Currently our favorite vacation is York Beach, Maine. I would actually recommend it as a "fly to" destination for a family with young children during the summer months, because it is a place where families can simply spend time together and reconnect. I find myself appreciating my family so much each year, because we have dedicated time, hours that tun into days to just enjoy each other, play on the beach and stroll around the dinky kiddy ride amysement park that has no lines (since we go end of season), and we get to hang out with them and watch their faces light up with glee as they run from ride to ride. When they get too tired, it is not so far to walk carrying them back to the motel right at short sands beach, all of us happily exhausted. We love this vacation because it is time spent focused on being together, and time that is low stress. It is also cheap (relatively!).
What are your favorite "fly to" family vacation destinations? I am looking for ideas, for some variety.

IMO, "low stress" and "flying" are 100% mutually exclusive.
Who can afford to fly a family anywhere these days?
Our family used to travel a lot, but since both me and my two siblings have gotten older and are either in college or have a job, we have had to cut down on the vacations. My favorite vacation spot was Australia... Amazing history, beautiful beaches, nice people, and tons of outdoorsy things to do. But since we have had to cut back on the long, overseas vacations, we have been visiting the Outer Banks every summer. We get a house for a week and just go to the beach or sand dunes and relax. Plus there are a decent amount of nature trails and kayak rental places so that you can go off on your own and be in a less crowded area for a bit.
Vegas
We don't fly to get there, but every other year my 4 siblings and I (and our families) all converge on the Ocean Edge resort in Brewster, Cape Cod, MA. We hang out at the pool, have dinners at each family's condo (we rotate who is hosting), and drive over to the beach and mini golf a few times.
Before we started going to the Cape, one year we went to St. John, USVI and another year to Santa Barbara, CA, both of which were lovely. My hope is that someday we'll go to Hawaii, but this year it'll be Cape Cod again.
@phoenixgirrl: love that quiet side of the Cape - colder water, but beautiful beach.
