Can you recommend a good small/portable sewing machine?

I'm looking for something that's priced at or under $100 with a fairly small footprint and light enough that storing it away between uses won't be a hassle. Light use for hemming, mending, and other small jobs so I don't really need any bells and whistles or something that can handle creating a new wardrobe. I've also only ever sewn things by hand, so clear instructions would definitely be a plus.

....kidding....there are no reviews on this, I'd imagine if there were, they'd be horrible. It looks like of ridiculous.

Seriously though, this one scored above a 90 on two of the review sites that I checked, and was the highest rated for mini sewing machines on Viewpoints.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
