Is there going to be an app for smartphones?
I know this question was asked before, http://deals.woot.com/questions/details/c104db67-8f75-44b9-997a-6d463beceb72/is-there-going-to-be-a-blackberry-mobile-version#1
But I don't think that it got much coverage. I think this would a benefit to those Snazzy shoppers out there. To be able to shop on their phone while on the commute is great. Currently, the mobile form that I get for the deals site is really bad looking, on a blackberry storm.
Comments, ideas ETA?

@sgoman5674: You know, I just saw something on the news this morning that mentioned something about smartphones having become the majority of online purchasing. I have to admit, I'm not going to buy something from my blackberry, but then, I'm already an outlier anyway, so my habits don't count. I have a bunch of friends with iPhones, and Netbooks, and they are the kind of people who do a majority of their non-grocery purchases online.
Yeah, dang it. Where's the Woot and Deals apps for smartphones?
[Edit] Whoa. The deals developers have been working on the edit feature. Nice job guys. [Edit again] REALLY nice. Take a bow.
Just wanted to mention that you still can't click on Wavydave exclamation point without a server error (he commented on that post).
@shrdlu: Seriously! Whenever there is a woot-off, my battery dies on my storm because I refresh every 30 seconds. If only I knew programming, I would try to learn how to create these things.
@shrdlu: You know what I think is a bad idea? Having access to bank and credit card information from your cell phone. I got recently got an email from Discover happily telling me I could pay my bill using their new iPhone app.
@jokofoto: I think that is a great idea. Being able to pay your bills from someone's iPhone on an app is great.
@jokofoto: I bank online. The very first thing I did was to edit my information so that my cell phone appears as a land line. Banks are actually my main interest, and now that the cloud stuff here is beginning to be same old same old, I'll probably return to it.
To be very truthful, although I bank online, I only do it from home. It's my network, and I know what's on it, and how things are set up, and I control nearly every packet that comes and goes (except for that damned stupid Vista, but that's a story for a different time and place). You know what they say.
Trust, but verify.
@sgoman5674: BB Storm? Well, now we all know your provider. :-D
@shrdlu: I have windows 7. It's a dream!
@sgoman5674: On your Blackberry Storm? You are pretty funny.
@shrdlu: I wish! I just updated my phone and now whenever I get a message, it beeps twice. Really annoying. I haven't figured out how to change it.
@sgoman5674: This is why, although I have a blackberry (and have had, for years), that I do not have a storm, nor do I have your service provider. If that were my phone, and it wasn't immediately obvious how to change it, I'd just pick up the phone and have them tell me where the knob was that I needed to turn to shut it off.
Did you know that if you send someone a PM over on regular Woot, and then delete the original, you can't see their replies? BTW, I replied to your earlier messages, and have been awaiting a response since about 2pm Pacific...
@shrdlu: I do all my banking and bill payment online, too. And, like you, only from my home network.
@shrdlu: As you know, I saw it and replied.
@sgoman5674: wootSnoop was just released on BlackBerry App World (OS 4.5 or higher required) Since it came out today, it may take a few days for it to show up on everyone's device.

This is just the first release, but many more features will be coming in the future such as shirt, wine, etc. tracking and more customization. Any suggestions for features would be greatly appreciated!
