I sure saw a LOT of Christmas trees on cars today... Did you get yours today?
Driving a lot today I saw soo many Christmas trees on peoples cars. I myself have not cut one down yet... it'll happen one of these days. Do you get yours the day after Thanksgiving?
Sadly, I've been using a fake one for several years now. But I volunteer at a fire dept. and we just started our sales today - so I hope to see a lot of trees on cars soon!
No, but we did get several sets of lights.
I wanted too, but my grinch (husband) is making me wait a week. I did drag him out to get lights though!
I got mine out of the attic today. Does that count?
My family always goes and cuts one the day after thanksgiving, so I got mine yesterday and brought it home today.
Too early, imo. Real trees are already an inherent fire hazard to some degree, why make it worse (and have to clean up more pine needles) with a tree this early.
You may get a little more limited selection down the road (especially at the cut-your-own places, which I prefer) but the tree stays fresher if you don't buy until the second week of December (or even later).
The last several years we got ours on the Saturday after T-day 'cause that's when our oldest is home from college. This year he had to go back right away, so we just tagged it the day before T-day. So no tree yet, but we got ours picked out at least!
@lordebon: When I'd buy a tree from a lot or home depot, the tree would be dry within 3 weeks, but never since I went to a tree farm & had one cut on the spot, even though we have it in the house from T-day weekend until New Years.
