Does your birthday fall on a day a national disaster occurred?
For example, my birthday is on April 16th, the day the Virginia Tech shootings happened. How many of you out there were born on September 11th? Do you celebrate your birthday not thinking about it? Did you celebrate the day it actually happened?

I was born on September 11th. Oddly enough, that fact saved my life. I don't travel on my birthday and flew out of Newark on Flight 93 two days before 9/11.
I woke up and turned on the news and watched the whole thing unfold live (I live in California). No, no celebrating that day or in the first few years after.
