Looking for some good new stand-up comedians, any suggestions?
I have had a hard time finding stand-up that is funny these days. Maybe I am getting old and cynical, or the new guys are just not as talented. Who would you suggest?

Some of my favorites are dead...Mitch Hedberg for one. I really love him, he just has a completely different perspective than most people :)
I've heard good things about this guy...Jerome Seinfeld was his name IIRC. It's observational comedy, but he's pretty good at it.
Louis CK and Bill Burr are who I am laughing at lately. Note, extremely raunchy.
Youtube will sort you out with all the "recommended videos" of your favorite comics. It will be hit and miss but it's better than just sitting there.
It would be easier to recommend some newer comics if you listed some of your favorites. There is good stand-up being performed all the time, you just have to take a chance and see the whole set.
Some "newer" comics I know of that you may not know are: Anthony Jeselnik, Sheng Wang, Kyle Kinane, Chelsea Peretti and Myq Kaplan. They are all young and run the gamut in different comedy styles/delivery.
Ron White
Jim Gaffigan
and I like Daniel Tosh, but I know a lot of people dont
(if you dont, dont discount ron or jim, they have totally different styles)
and of course Jerry Seinfeld is great, as someone mentioned already
Tosh and Louis CK are the best right now. Louis CK is brilliant, hilarious and is against DRM. He sold his latest for $5 on the internet and made 1 million dollars in just a 12 days to prove that DRM is a joke! Check him out. He's a little vulgar, but hilarious!
PS. With that million dollars he gave $250,000 to charities and $250,000 in bonuses to his staff. Good guy really.
My favorite that's still fairly new is Brian Regan. Good, clean, and hilarious! Been around a few years though...
I saw Tom Simmons a couple years back. Reminded me of George Carlin a little bit. Very Funny!
@dmaz I loved Mitch. He is the reason I keep all my receipts (especially for Donuts). Some of the most witty one liners I have heard in my life.
@rprebel Will check him out. Observational comedy can be pretty funny! +1 since I havent heard of him
@rlapid2112 Louis CK has some good stand-up but his show is awful, which confuses me. Ill look into Bill Burr, +1 for the new one.
@curtisuxor BIG +1 for the list of names! Haven't heard of any of them, now I am all excited! I typically find younger comedians to be funnier, so these should be right up my alley.
@shadowblue42 Yes, I have listened to all of them in the past, they are all good (esp Tosh) but I am looking for something new.
@housry23 Thats interesting. Didn't know that, but I respect the hell out of him for it.
@gewoodworth Brian Regan is OK. It is nice to have someone who you can listen to with speakers on at the office and not be concerned.
@jordan711 I'm intrigued. +1 for the new name!
NOT Dane Cook
@the18thtee84: If you have Amazon Prime, Loius CK & Bill Burr each have a great, free to stream, video. HILARIOUS on both. BTW, I love Gaffigan's stuff and have liked Demetri Martin. Demetri is a little obsessive:

Also, try this as a sampler:
Jeff Dunham is really good, you can see some of his stuff on Youtube, Kevin Hart is another one, Enjoy.
@mkentosh I agree (now) but Dane Cook was one of my favorites back in the day.
@rlapid2112 I do have prime, and I will check those out. I have probably seen the Louis CK one, but I will check out the Bill Burr video. Demetri Martin's first few stand-ups were really funny, but ever since he got his own show he lost his edge. Ran out of material I suppose?
@meems212 I have heard of both of them, but I don't remember how I liked it. Ill check em out again and see what happens.
Need some good laughs lately. Between moving and work overload I'm about to pop!
Not new by any means, but his stuff sometimes takes a bit of time to get to America, so unless you keep tabs on him, you kinda forget he's there:
Eddie Izzard.
