Where do you watch the news?
I used to watch ABC w/Peter Jennings; cannot stand Diane Sawyer. Maybe it's because I want to hear the NEWS and not editorializing. Or, put in another way...slanting the news .
Do you watch one of the big 3 (ABC, CBS, NBC), or a cable news network? Do you watch at all? I'm beginning to avoid watching any news channel. When I want to know what's happening, I can read it online. So easy to close the browser if I find that it's not facts, but editorializing. Or do you watch a local (non-network) channel. I've actually found my 'local' station' to be the best.

When I watch the news it is Fox News that I choose. They actually are fair and balanced, unlike the "big three" and CNN. Otherwise, I pick up news from the Wall Street Journal, Seattle Times, internet news aggregator sites (DrudgeReport, Lucianne, Orbusmax) and listening to the radio.
I tend to get my news from NPR. If I do watch the news on tv it's usually NBC.
From my underground nuclear apocalypse bunker, at least that's what the news media makes me feel is necessary.
My right wing grandma usually tells me all the "Stuff Obama's doin to hurt America," whether I want to hear it or not (my opinion always goes w/ the latter). I hate the news and figure if there's something that truly concerns me, I'll wind up seeing it here on deals.woot.
News aggregator sites (HuffPo, FARK, PhysOrg for science news) and The Daily Show.
On the sofa in my underwear.
Not Fox, that's for sure
i usually get my news from reddit.com :)
and fox sports net radio shows / ESPN
(dan patrick rules!)
@loubriccant: yup, you're baaaaaaaack!!
On the radio (a combination of the local all-news AM station and the local NPR affiliate).
For news analysis, I subscribe to http://www.borowitzreport.com/
Do The Daily Show with John Stewart and The Colbert Report count as news?
I feel like a I get a decent idea of national/global events, they do seem to cover everything , just at a humorous angle and If I really have an interest in a particular event I will go research the facts online
Or NPR in the Car, haha that rhymes
Mostly online. The cable news networks all cater to one set of political views or another. just goes to show that people don't mind bias as long as they agree with the bias.
@shadowblue42: I get my news the same way. Well, plus Wait Wait Don't Tell Me podcasts. :)
I also get my news almost exclusively from NPR. I personally find them less biased than any other news source I have listened to or watched!
I don't. I listen to it on my one hour drive to work each day.
I watch it anywhere in my house. But I always make sure I have my tinfoil hat on. Sorry, @gmwhit: It's just one of those days...
