questionshas anyone created their own app?

If you'd like to learn how to program, then everything you should need is included with the Apple Developer Program, which you have to be a member of to get your app in the store.

It's worth looking at, since you do have to sign up for it anyway. About pricing, maybe make it free at launch to get some reviews, then change it to $1.

It's really really fun developing apps. I've been doing it for several years and every app is a joy.

If you're serious grab the developer license as stated above and download lots of sample code (Apple has a lot of stuff and many developers have posted their stuff on github). Also if you have any questions that you just can't answer head over to StackOverflow. It has 80% of the questions you could ever ask already answered and if it doesn't you can ask it and usually very quickly you'll get a response. :)

Happy coding!

@rprebel and @njkrut: Thanks for the info and advice! My app is relatively simple, so I shouldn't be afraid to give it a shot. I've got Yoda in my head saying, "Do or do not; there is no try."
