Mine is I hold a penny in 1 hand with both my hands open face up. I then close them quickly and magically then penny is now in my other hand. You have to practice the "Toss" to the other hand. You can't touch your hand together either. Penny works best because it does not reflect light like a quarter.

Not exactly a magic trick, but I've entertained kids on three continents by juggling. There were some kids in this tiny village on the coast of India who I don't think had ever seen anyone juggle. It was amazing to watch their faces.

I've never progressed beyond "gotcher nose".

Juggling is fun as there is usually something around to juggle. My go to entertainment option is balloon animals.

However, for the tricks, I like the old fashioned removable thumb trick. The crossed arms rotating thumbs up is a good one, too. I performed that one for my daughter's grade school. I even had the adults fooled. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXyT9dxH5xo Works best when you have an assistant trying to do it too so that you can let go of your arms to "help them" get in the proper position.

"Watch me disappear!"

I can rub a quarter into my elbow and make it disappear. It's just sleight of hand, you keep the coin in the 'elbow' hand while making it appear it is in the 'rubbing' hand.
You put your hand with coin on the back of your neck and leave the coin there while rubbing it into your elbow. Hocus pocus show both hands empty. Then you can slyly remove coin and 'find' it in their ear.
