Deja vu is broken again
apparently de ja vu is broken. @glindagw can attest to this really but deals aren't showing up that should be.
So A) warning we are probably going to see duplicate deals today.
B) @josefresno and @shawnmiller please hurry ;)
When I take the first deal off the popular tab and try to add it I see our duplicate warning message pop up: http://grab.by/3Xe1
If I ignore the message I see the first deal off the popular tab as the first result in Deja Vu: http://grab.by/3Xeb
It's possible that what you're seeing is our HTML parser having trouble identifying the title of the deal you're trying to add. There's a lot of crappy HTML out there on the web to handle. But give me more deets about how this is broken, and don't make me break out @shrdlu's "links or it didn't happen" rule.
@shawnmiller: I added the Pavarotti mp3 deal. I didn't ignore the Deja Vu popup (there wasn't one) & it didn't come up on the list either. I tattled on it about 15 minutes ago for you.

@glindagw: right and I know you aren't one of the less observant deal posters. which is why I posted this question. :)
@hobbit: Thanks for taking care of it. I didn't know if it was just my deal so I asked about it in my tattle comments.
The tattle question yesterday was a great one.
@shawnmiller: aren't these the same too?
I KNOW the titles are different but the deals pretty much look the same. THAT however might be a different issue.
@glindagw: Happy to ask that question. I had been thinking about the tattle question for a while. You know wondering. So I asked.
Before the public beta we had a feature we called "dynamic Deja Vu" which updated the Deja Vu as you filled in more and more of the "What's Your Deal?" form. One of the devs has bringing this feature back on their short-term todo list. I'm expecting it next week and I think it would have helped with this MP3 deal example.
@shawnmiller: I wish that he could roll it out before the weekend!
@shawnmiller: oooooo I like that idea. Of course that only works for those of us who fill in information. There are many who just post a title and the link.
