Has it ever happened that each of the 5 sponsored deals, on the same day, had a negative vote total?

I have seen 2 or 3 of the five sponsored daily deals have negative vote totals. Since I've only been coming here about a year I was wondering if there was ever a prior time when all 5 sponsored daily deals were so bad they all got voted down?

Never happened to my knowledge. I don't even recall when there were 3 that were in the minus.

I suppose if they ever decide to offer vacations, hair accessories, exercise equipment, shoes and streaming video on the same day ...

i have seen three in one day but only once and it was since they went to woot4.0
and yes, one was video related (blockbuster maybe?)

The perfect storm of sponsored downvoting would be any five of these:

Crocs
Feather hair extensions
Netflix
Exam Prep
one or more of those travel deals that require your contact info to actually see the deal
Body by Jake
Distressed Rocker Onesies

@narfcake: I am reasonably sure I have seen 3 in one day. I just don't remember when.

@moosezilla: Thanks @moosezilla. You've confirmed that I did see 3 negative sponsored deals in one day. I wasn't sure but I doubt we're both hallucinating about the same thing at the same time...Unless we're really the same person with a split personality, each having it's own Woot! account. :-)

@jnissel: I saw the three negative deals, maybe it was a month or two ago? However, I have never seen more than that.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
