Adam Sandler

He's like nails on a chalkboard for me, especially if he sings.

#1 Lindsey Lohan (today, not as much ten or so years ago)
#2 Kristen Stewart (and everyone else in Twilight)
#3 Keanu Reeves and Paul Walker (I swear, their characters are the same in every movie)

Jason Statham. He plays the same character in every movie (because he can't act), and I never liked that character in the first place.

Oh my goodness.. who be downvoting up in hereeeee.

Any of the Wayans clan, or Sean Penn. The Wayans boys seem to have the magic touch when it comes to picking movies It's like they have to ham up and act like a stand up comic anytime that a camera is pointed at them.

vote-for5vote-against

Nick Cage seems like an obvious answer. I'm actually surprised no one has said it yet.

vote-for4vote-against

agree that sean penn sucks. Can't remember EVER liking a movie in which he starred.

@kamikazeken and @bluejester: Taps, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Carlito's Way, The Game, Hurlyburly, Mystic River and Milk. Surely there's one in there that you like.

Snooki nuff said or those Kardasianssasnisnsssasnsss? Not sure on the spelling and I really didn't care enough to google it sorry

Oh and @tellingson: Leo was a MONSTER in The Departed and in Inception

vote-for3vote-against

@rprebel: I would have gone with "The Falcon and the Snowman," but yours is a good list.

They've both already been mentioned, but Jim Carey and Adam Sandler are two I avoid at all costs.

Robin Williams is right up there as well. (He's done some decent work, but nothing recently.)

Sylvester Stallone. Especially if he's writing it.

I'm starting to avoid movies directed by Tim Burton. It's sad, because I once loved him so. Now it's like his whole movie formula is "Put Johnny Depp in weird make-up. Don't forget to cast Helena Bonham Carter because otherwise I'll have to sleep on the couch tonight."

I guess my choice for an actor would be Dwayne Johnson. I really want to like his movies, but he makes it so difficult! He's so charming and full of charisma. Why won't he take any decent roles? //cry//

vote-for6vote-against

@jseureau: by calling Leo a "Monster" in The Departed and Inception, I hope you mean "Kick-Ass Actor", because those were two phenomenal films

vote-for4vote-against

and @bluejester: I completely agree with you about Nick Cage. He used to be one of my favorite actors (Raising Arizona, Face Off, even City of Angels), then he made Ghost Rider, Next, Knowing, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Ghost Rider 2. So, recently? If he comes out with a movie, I might not even watch it when Netflix makes it available to stream.

@heisk: I think that Leo DiCaprio improved greatly once he stopped playing teeny-bopper heart throb roles (Titanic, anyone?) I was impressed with his performances as far back as Catch Me if You Can and Blood Diamond. The Aviator was another great movie.

vote-for7vote-against

Uwe Boll - Everything he touches is garbage

vote-for3vote-against

@rprebel: I agree with Statham completely. The only movies he's good in are Lock Stock and Snatch. But anything he STARS in is garbage.

vote-for5vote-against

cameron diaz followed closely by jennifer aniston

vote-for4vote-against

Eddie Murphy.

I think his last movie had one of the worst ratings of all time:

Jenna Jamison. Talk about sucking...

Woll Smoth.

I'll admit that Titanic and The Quick & The Dead are my favorite Leonardo films. Mostly for his final scenes in them. (Quick & Dead was fun anyway though.)

So many good answers! "Actors" I hadn't even thought about, but now realize that I avoid like the plague!

Steven Seagal makes my teeth hurt. I even avoid commercials for his movies! Paris Hilton falls in that same category. (Have you heard her latest auto-tuned attempt at a musical career? Sheesh!) The only Adam Sandler movie that was halfway tolerable was Spanglish. And I know a lot of folks love Will Ferrell, but other than Elf, yuck!

My number 1 avoid-at-all-costs actor is Tom Cruise. I know his movies make big bucks, but he has so damaged those dealing with mental illness by further stigmatizing them, that many folks who truly NEED treatment will not seek it because, after all, it can all be cured by exercise and vitamins, right Tom? My son, knowing this, wanted me to watch The Last Samurai with him. He thought I would like it because, "Tom Cruise gets beaten up a lot."

@portezbie: I kind of have to agree with you. I think I never liked any of his movies except for Shrek and Mulan.

Also I'd want to add Jack Black. I just liked him as Kung Fu Panda, Ice Age, Shark Tale, and Nacho Libre.

Catch my drift?
