Nope. With a son in elementary school, we practically have a Star Wars day every week here. That's how I like it, especially when kids in the neighborhood bring out their lightsabers and then it turns into an epic battle ranging across several front lawns. I figure we can let the rest of you have the "official" day and continue our own celebrations year-round.

was going to wear my "@T-@T" shirt to work but i couldn't find it. i will have to look for it when i get home. other than that, i may buy some star wars lego. i just wish i had space to display them.

@elandria: Same here, actually. Two boys, 7 and 4. Between the light saber battles, Star Wars Lego builds, and other constant play, we get Star Wars pretty much every day.

I'm celebrating, but unintentionally. I completely forgot about it and had the day off. I grabbed one of my random woot shirts from the drawer, the Facebook "like" parody with the light saber with the work Luke under it. Didn't even think about it until I logged on here earlier today. Maybe there truly is a force in the universe...

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
