Did I build a good computer?
Somehow I needed a question that wasn't related to cowboys, so I thought I would share my computer that I am building to see what you think.
My original Budget build was here: http://deals.woot.com/questions/details/bcf036e8-7aa6-4cdf-a230-6b0684f2a288/challenge-building-a-new-gaming-pc-budget
I wasn't too happy with my choices so I saved some extra money and came up with this:
Intel Core i5-2500K
Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III
ASUS VS Series VS247H-P
Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case
Corsair 16 GB XMS3
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
Antec Cyclone Blower Case Fan
Corsair CMPSU-950TX 950-Watt TX
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 2 GB DDR5x2 Crossfire
I all ready had the case, two regular HDDs, a couple burners, and such. So what do you all think? Good for a few years. Eh? With the cooling and extra fans I have I could easily get 4.9 per core. And still run around 65c under load. Cheers!

Seem excellent. Especially the crossfire action you got there. I woulda went with an i7-3960x or i7-980 since you went so balls out with all the rest.
@ebersole12: At least the mobo supports i7 for later upgrading if he they feel like it.
@coolphilip04: Good point. I went for the 980 in my latest build. the cash is most definitely worth it!
@coolphilip04: That would be my only suggestion, to see if you could budget out an i7 over the i5.
@ebersole12: I agree that he really did go "balls out with the rest", but is an i7 much of an improvement over an i5 if you are strictly concerned with gaming?
I thought that a quad core CPU compared to a dual core CPU with current-gen gaming wasn't much of a difference.
edit: I just realized that his i5 is a quad core. Where have I been?
@sizzlestick: It is alot better, but those particular i7s are 6-cores! EPIC!!!!
