I get an error when I try to access Garmin's Product page
http://www8.garmin.com/products/sp510/

Are the connection and voltage the same as another model, like the Nuvi? Those are looking to be more popular as I search.

this one looks kinda cool:

it allows you to charge 2 devices from 1 plug: one would be your Garmin and the other could be...phone, iPod, Kindle, etc. It lets you pick the tip to connect with the second side.

Little pricey at $30, but for 2 devices and not having to buy a splitter...?

@perkalicious11: I already have the USB thing that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I didn't know the 510c could charge via USB. Cool!

Unfortunately the GPS isn't usable when the USB is plugged in. :(

@thefenst: what a crock!! They certainly make it look like it does!
The only halfway decent one I found was the $30 option then, but if you're like me you probably already bought the splitter and have chargers for your other accessories.

Do you have any internal Woot vendor connections that might be able to lend more expertise?

@perkalicious11: I will ask. Thanks for all your help!
