Meh. I am not really looking for anything right now, but there are some darn good deals for memory right now on their website. I will hold off, because they will get cheaper.

Wow, I have the exact opposite going on. I have been frustrated with Ebay as of late, and it amazes me the lack of customer service the sellers I have been buying from have been providing. Everything from poor packaging to sloooow shipping and total lack of communication has had me shopping other places besides Ebay....

@tarasadies: I think a crucial key is to read the reviews of anyone you consider buying from an
D don't risk business with Newbies. It almost reminds me of the old EBay...I'm having fun again!

If you're in the market for lingerie in the small to med range, e-bay rocks

I used ebay quite a bit in the '90s. They've steadily gotten more and more annoying, and as of now I think I'm averaging one auction a year or less. I do use them for price-checking though.

I used to buy from ebaY all the time, and fought Amazon. Then I received some fake items off of ebaY and was not pleased with the customer service. I tried Amazon and have been very happy, except for some lasership snafu's.

I still buy from ebaY if I find a really great deal, but not like I did. I have never sold on either one, so I can't comment as a seller, only as a buyer.

Also, my last few purchases on ebaY were the make an offer ones.

I've had very good luck buying appliance parts off ebay. They often have the lowest prices around and I've been able to get some help making sure the parts are exactly what I need.
I recently bought some books off half.com. The most difficult part about that is that everyone's opinion of what consititutes different qualities of books is different. Fortunately I'm mostly just interested in being able to read the book and can easily look past the covers being a bit beat up.
But I definitely recommend being very careful when selecting who to buy from. I always check the ratings and read through some of the buyer comments.
