I used to do a similar thing. My alarm has dual alarms and I would also use my cell phone alarm. This was after too many times turning off my one alarm in my sleep and waking up several hours after I was supposed to be at work. Now, I can't sleep past the time I've woken up every day for the past 6 years.

A man with one clock always knows what time it is. A man with three is never sure.

@lichme: LOL. I can't take credit for it, it's a French proverb, I just changed two to three to fit the situation.

@benyust2: This is why I do it. I was late for work 2 times when I knew for sure my clocks were set!

@moondrake: Ok so you need to know they are all the same time (within a fraction of a second). Sure it takes 3 minutes to set them all but it is so worth having them all change minutes at the same time!

My GF has 3 or 4 alarms and all different time intervals that go off over 2 hours. Drives me f-ing nuts.

I use my phone as my main alarm but I have a clock on my desk that I will use on days I need to wake up extra early.

@mikecris: Why? Does it take her 2 hours to wake up?
I can explain my 3 I have 2 alarm clocks and will not allow my wife to touch them and she has 1 that I am not allowed to touch.

@caffeine_dude: Wish I knew. It will most likely be the downfall of our relationship. Laziness is a sad dissorder. Not so much because it angers me, but because I'll probably meet someone cooler while I'm out enjoying the world and she's sleeping.
