What is better, buckyballs or buckycubes?

Are these things really as fun as they look?

Buckyballs are better. The cubes don't go together as well as the balls. Still fun, just not as fun as the balls. There's something strangely addictive about buckyballs.

When I first got BuckyBalls, I played with them nonstop for about 3 months. They are insanely fun but just like anything you get bored of them after a while. I see them as being like angry birds. It was addicting getting through every level but unless you're autistic then you would not enjoy going back through every level trying to get 3 stars.
As for BuckyCubes, I never played with them but they seem like they would be less fun. Since they are squares, it seems like there are far less shapes that you could make. That's just my 2 cents, anyway.

Depends on if you want a challenge or just to have fun.

Bucky Cubes are more like a puzzle. You can make a ton of shapes with the buckycubes, but their polarity is different than the balls, so it makes it much more of a challenge or a puzzle.

The bucky balls being round make things much less challenging and it seems like you can do more things.

I am a physics teacher so I give my higher performing students the bucky cubes and the other..well you know...the bucky balls

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
