By the way, this is for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3. I'll mostly be using it for photographs, but will also be taking some HD video. This is for a summer bike trip, so I won't have tons of opportunities to dump photos/vid from the card.

Assuming that this is the correct one, how many bonus points do I get?

@catbertthegreat: Well done. 10 bonus points for you...unless someone can beat it!

@lordwoot: That's a nice price for 8gb...any experience with PQI cards?

@catbertthegreat: Nice! 5 bonus points for you...would've been 15 if it were under 30..now it's up to 31.50, but I might still jump on it...I think the extra 4gb will be nice.

@oo7slice: Now it's down ti $29.29. The price won't stop changing.

@oo7slice: I have not had any personally, but I have a friend who purchased about 3 of their flash drives many years ago(3-4?), and they all still work. The benchmarks I read awhile back for flash drives say they are in general slower than the good fast ones (sorry for not being specific, it has been awhile). That probably doesn't help much for SD cards though.

I have also heard that not all classed cards reflect their actual speed. i.e.: a class 2 has a rare chance of being better than some class 6's and vice versa (by model/brand not individual cards). But they are generally correct I think.

As a side note, I have the same camera and love it.

@lordwoot: Good to know..also good to know that you like the camera. It seemed to have great reviews..I haven't had it long enough to tell for sure, but so far I like it.
