I'm confused too... but Woot, I got a newsletter and I have credits and free shipping codes to use!

They don't always start at midnight Monday. Could still happen tomorrow, but I doubt it.

Woot typically has a Woot-Off once a month. They had one 11/8 to 11/9, so it's no surprise they aren't doing one now.

I think that they are toying with us as a test of loyalty...

vote-for3vote-against

No, I'm relieved...hehehe I spent waaaaay to much time checking every other minute last time ><

Naw. The Woot-off starts tomorrow. As a special treat, anyone who buys anything also gets two-for-Tuesday Buckets of Corn.

Remember, you heard it here first.

ALARMED. You have to be kidding. I am alarmed at the way the government is is running (or not), the poverty and unemployment in this country, the world economy, but a woot-off? What planet are you on?

vote-for2vote-against

How many times has woot had two woot-offs in one month? It is still November and we already had one this month.

Not alarmed, but kinda bummed. Was hoping there would be one today since it's the last week I'd feel safe that Smartpost would get my stuff here in time.

@klozitshoper I typically save posts about those for government.woot, poverty.woot, unemployment.woot, and world.economy.woot.

@nortonsark and @ichigodiafuku, you're right of course. But I had high hopes because I can't remember ever getting a newsletter without it being followed by a Woot-Off, and I had such high hopes with yesterday being Cyber Monday and all. :)

Part of the fun of a woot-off is the pleasent surprise and sudden rush when you check woot as normal and you see those flashing yellow lights. If you expect it then you miss that. Unless somehow your livelihood or health is tied to a woot-off alarmed is probably not the right word.

@apocello42 @klozitshoper Okay, okay, I retract my use of "alarmed" and would like to instead substitute "disappointed" and "unpleasantly surprised." :)

Then again, @dmaz has a good point--I could probably do without obsessively watching Woot. For that matter, my wallet could probably do without a Woot-Off as well. XD

I remember going a few months without one back in 07 or 08. Talk about not having happy wooters, but it does suck having them all the time.

Alarmed, no. Rested, yes.
