Has anyone brought any of the wine.woot wines?
Are the wines being offered a deal? I have wanted to try them for a while but usually don't spend much over $10/bottle, and for the most part the prices seem to be a little over that.
I think maybe with @Jumbowoot 's kindness I might make the jump.

I've been buying a lot of wine from woot over the last year or so. I think the wine.woot deals are actually better than the regular woot deals. Didn't used to be that way, though.
Woot used to sell items for approximately 50% off what you could get them for elsewhere and IMO the items they sold were generally more desirable than the stuff they sell now. wine.woot's discount is still 30-40% off retail while woot's deals vary widely afa discount %.
wine.woot is a lot of fun because there are so many knowledgeable regulars and the winemakers participate in the discussions and answer questions about the wines being offered. I have learned a great deal from hanging out on wine.woot!
I've been buying wines from Wine dot Woot since it started. It's an interesting group of people that hang out there. I don't always agree with them (I don't get the excitement of Ty Caton, for example), but they're generally pretty knowledgeable, and very nice if you're trying to understand why you might or might not like something.
You say you're spending around $10 a bottle. This leads me to some questions. What is your age? What area of the country are you in? Do you have other friends that also like wine? White, Red, Rose?
I ask your age because the palate changes, and a younger person might not be happy with something complex. In my long distant youth, I'd have tolerated Chardonnay, for example. Area of the country is also important. Wine is simply more expensive in some areas than others.
The cost from Wine Woot is nice, but the real blessing is that you are introduced to something you might not otherwise have found.

I like wine (but, not an expert.. I just drink what I like, I don't care about "notes" and "hints"), but never got anything from wine.woot. I've enjoyed reading some of the comments, and have come close a few times. But, I can just drive a few miles up the road and pick something up that I'll enjoy, generally for less per-bottle.
For me, if I haven't tried the wine before, then even being 40-50% off, for me, it's not a deal.. since I don't know if I'll like it.
Pay close attention to the links that @Cesare usually provides when a new wine is posted. I was incredibly impressed that he kept up during the three day woot off. Those links are your friend. Go over to Cellar Tracker (by following those links) and see what the ratings for a wine are. You might change your mind.
In addition, watch the rate of sales for a wine. If the "last sucker" seems to be the same person for a while, that tells you that most people are not buying it. I'll come back later and see if you've answered those questions.
The three day woot off we just had was great for me, and I was surprised to come in under $500 for all three days. I love Wine Woot.
[Almost forgot. I live near many wineries, and can drop by and pick a bottle or two any time. In addition, there are many good wines at the local grocery store, which is NOT true in all states. I like wine. It's tasty.]
76 bottles since August 16, 2011, at an average price of $11.76 (adding back in "jumbowoot discounts").
When purchasing locally, I have to pay 8.875% sales tax and wine.woot is tax free for me, so this compares to a local bottle priced at $10.80. When I've done local comparison shopping, I've found several $12-$15 woots for $20-$25 and NEVER found anything for less than what I paid on woot plus $5 or $6.)
I read the descriptions of the wines posted in the forums and look them up on CellarTracker and elsewhere. Thus far, I've made two mistakes, and one wasn't really a mistake, it just wasn't as good as the forum descriptions led me to expect. My sister loved the other wine, so shopping for her last birthday merely meant going to my basement and it ended up being even less of a mistake.
