if all of this download/online (no more physical copies of games) nonsense is true, I'm in no rush.
I've heard very late 2012 to early 2013 for ps3.
still just rumors though.

christmas 2013 for xbox. If even then. Most likely both are at least 18 months away.

from techradar:
"While gossip surrounding the next Xbox has been churning around inside the rumour mill for a good few years now, there's no doubt that we're getting closer to learning some cold, hard facts.

It would be absolutely no surprise if the Xbox 720 - if it is indeed to be called that – were to launch in time for Christmas 2013. And with the increasing frequency of new rumours, reports and leaks, an official reveal from Microsoft cannot be too far away.

Many think that a 2014 release is more likely though, and Microsoft has already ruled out making any kind of announcement in relation to the next Xbox at E3 2012."

just google it, because unless someone is a high-up employee of sony or MS, they won't have any better info than you can google yourself.

The only news we have on either system is that they are in development and that the Xbox will use an AMD setup. That is all we know.
The Wii U is the only Next-Gen that has officially been announced. Until the others say something, it's all speculation.

You're asking for reliable info. Frankly, there is none. All there is for now is rumor. Most rumors indicate a "Holiday 2013" launch - late next fall. But there is no reliable source for this, so the rumors could be wrong, and the new consoles might not come until some time later. The fact that neither Microsoft nor Sony announced a new console this week is a strong indication that they will not be coming out with anything before next year at the earliest.
