Since Amazon begins charging sales tax in Tennessee later this year, I'm curious about this as well. I hope they didn't do away with it.

It's probably gone, along with a lot of other things we have liked at Woot. I hope not, but I don't have much hope.

"Oh look ToTo, We're not in Texas any more..."

Maybe you have to hit $40.01 now? What were you trying to order? What was your total? Did you put it in all caps?

@thumperchick: Yes, I tried all caps as well as lower case, but I did not mix it up. I bought the Crosman TR77 Air Rifle from SportWoot on 2/2 for $89.99, so it definitely exceeded the $40 mark. As stated before, I've used the code many times in the past, but it didn't work that time.

huh, never got a staff answer here? That's odd.

@inkycatz, @thunderthighs - do either of you know the answer here?

Seems like Woot Staff could please come along and give this answer a simple yes-or-no answer. I'll still love you, Woot.

Last week, I heard that Amazon is building not one not two but three distribution centers in the great state of Texas. Perhaps part of the deal was that Woot has to quit reminding us Texans that we do have taxes, regardless of what the illustrious Governor of the Republic, I mean State, might say.

Hrm. This is disappointing, even if you don't know the answer, having someone pop in and say "hey, I'll look into it!" would be great! Or if you know the coupon has been discontinued, letting us know that would be great as well. I know I was disappointed yesterday when my $100 order didn't qualify for it.

Thunderthighs just confirmed the code no longer is offered. I'm sure you pieced it together by now, but thought I'd share the link anyway.

Amazon starts collecting tax in Tennessee this year, so it sucks I won't be able to use the code when they do.

Oh well...
