@mustardsquarepants: Early Termination Fee, I think.

@rprebel: Yep. That is what I meant.

I'm currently with t-mobile and cannot complain. They DO have a cap on 4g (at least on my plan)... but it's 4gigabytes) which I have not gone over, and I do PLENTY of streaming. Even if you DO go over they only throttle your usage down to 3g.
To be completely candid, they DID add a mysterious international charge on my 2nd month i was with them, but when I call'ed I was able to speak to someone... in "american" and get it sorted.
I'm sorry if that sounds insensitive or even callous, but it DOES matter to me. Not only do i feel like my point is getting across, but I know they are more likely to help me.
To sum it up... I am happier with T-mobile than i ever was with AT&T and the phone I have is much more customizable than apple could ever be (but that is for a different post)

If you're already with them and like them, and are not currently in a contract, why would you terminate your plan right after getting the phone? Or do you mean getting two, and reselling the second? Also, do you have a link to the phones that will be available?

@hairofthedog: they have T-Mobile, but not a contract. This Saturday, if you sign a 2 year contract you can get any phone for free. Early termination fee is $200, so you can get a good deal on a phone. But I wonder if that would reflect badly on your credit?

@mustardsquarepants: It will only reflect bad if you do not pay it. I have paid ETFs several companies (poor service, or moving) and it is not on my report.

I'm probably a lone ranger in this post but I really like my ATT plan. It has the best service where I live and with the mini tower I can even get a clear signal in my house which has never been possible with any carrier including ATT before this device came to market. I wish ATT had landline service in my area so I could bundle it but they don't. I have 6 lines and love the FamilyMap for my kids and the opportunity to find my phone if I put it somewhere...and Siri....she is really helping my pre-alhz brain keep up. I don't work for them or anything...I just really like the service and they have been very responsive to any problems I have had regarding billing. It will be a while before I switch.
